Billie Dean Howard was rarely an emotional person. Now she always showed you love and showered you with gifts and affection but she wasn't one to dwell on things. However today you noticed she seemed a little down. She was quieter than usual.

You thought maybe she was just stressed about her upcoming episode but she just seems off. You tried to pull her out of her slump all day but nothing was working.

The two of you got ready for bed and typically you'd tease Billie about her endless nighttime routine and she'd giggle back telling you it takes time and effort to look this good. But tonight she stayed off to herself leaving you alone in silence.

You sighed as you joined her in bed seeing that she was already laying down away from you. Normally she'd wait to cuddle with you. Once you were settled you finally had enough and speak up.

"Billie, what's wrong?"

"Hmm? Nothing." She mumbles staying in the same position.

"You haven't been yourself all day. You've barely even spoken to me. Did I do something wrong?" You asked.

Billie rolls over to look at you with a frown. "Of course not babydoll. You didn't do anything I'm just in a mood today."

"Okay..but why? Did something happen?" You pushed.

"It's stupid. Don't worry about it." She says shaking her head.

"But if it makes you upset I'm going to worry. I want to know."

Billie sighs as sits up and leans against the headboard.

" I overheard some of my employees talking about me today. Normally that wouldn't bother me but they said some things about you as well and it's been weighing on me all day."

"What did they say?"

"They said I was too old for you." She whispered keeping her eyes low.

You can't help the giggle that escapes your mouth and you quickly try to cover it up. However, Billie notices.

"That isn't funny y/n!"

"I know I'm sorry. I just thought it was going to be a lot worse."

"But it's true I am too old for you. You're what 27? I'm twice your age." She exclaimed.

"Okay? We already knew that honey what's your point?"

Billie rolls her eyes "My point is that you have your whole life ahead of you and I..well I don't want to hold you back from anything. I don't want you to feel stuck with some old lady."

"Billie."

"No, I mean it y/n. I mean you're so young. I've already lived. There's so much I want you to do and see, and experience and I can't be the reason you don't."

You sighed shaking your head as you move to straddle her lap. Lifting her chin you place a gentle kiss on her lips.

"I love you Billie Dean Howard and I will always love you. Yes, I'm younger than you but again this isn't new information. I don't feel stuck with some old lady. I feel like I'm finally living my life with my beautiful, sweet, and loving girlfriend. I want to see things, do things, and experience things too but I want to do it with you. Only you. Don't let people get in your head. We know what's right for us. And you're definitely what's right for me." You say with a smile.

Billie smiles back as she grabs your hips pulling you into her.

"And you're right for me babydoll. I'm sorry I let those Idiots get to me."

"It's okay. I understand. But for the record, you're not an old lady. If anything you're just more experienced than me and that has only worked in my favor. They're just jealous."

Billie smirks "More experienced hmm? Are you saying that I've taught you a thing or two?"

You smirked nodding your head "Or three or four." You added rolling your hips in her lap.

Billie winks at you as she grabs a handful of your ass giving it a firm squeeze.

"Oh yeah?" She asked.

"Mmm hmm." You moaned as your core rubbed against her legs.

"Mmm. Why don't you show me then huh?" She asked with a sly smile.

You giggled as you leaned in to kiss her.
"I love you." You whispered against her lips.

"I love you too babydoll."
