Movie Nights WV & DS.

"Diane!" You whined walking down the stairs.

"I'm in here baby." She calls out to you. You followed her voice into the living room. She was sitting on the couch reading her book. Looking up at you her mouth mimics the frown you're sporting.

"What's wrong Princess?"

"Mina is being mean." You whined climbing into her lap.

"Awe my poor baby. What did she do to you?"

"She won't show me any attention and she told me if I don't leave her alone while she works she'll punish me when she's done." You grumbled hiding your face in her shoulder.

Before Diane can respond the redhead is walking around the corner.

"Of course, you would come crying to Diane." She says rolling her eyes.

"Why are you being so mean to our baby?" Diane asked causing Mina to roll her eyes.

"I wasn't being mean! I have work I need to finish and I can't with her distracting me." the redhead explains.

"I just wanted cuddles," you pout making Diane chuckle.

"I'll give you cuddles. Mina is a meanie denying our baby cuddles," she says teasing the redhead.

"I swear you have made her a brat. I'll cuddle with you once I'm done." Mina says walking back into the office.

Diane chuckles softly as she holds you in her arms.

"When is Delia coming back?" You asked.

"She will be back by Monday. She's helping Misty and Myrtle find a witch."

"Ugh."

"I know love but you still have Mina and I. "

"I know."

"What's the matter hmm?"

"When Delia is here Mina doesn't work as much. She's good about getting her out of the office. But when she's gone Mina works constantly. I like it when Delia is here."

"Oh, sweetheart. I know. Delia is good about that. I could try to talk with Mina but it is likely to fall on deaf ears."

"Why does she do this? Does she not want to spend time with us? "

Diane shakes her head " No it's not that honey. I think Mina just gets caught up in her work and doesn't know how to relax. She doesn't mean anything by it."

"Are you sure?" you asked not totally convinced.

"I'm sure," she says with a smile.

"How about you take a trip to the store and get us some popcorn and snacks for a movie night? The three of us will spend some time together," she suggested.

"Really?" you asked excitedly.

"Of course. Here is money. Make sure you get me M&M's with the peanuts." she says handing you some money out of her purse."

"I got it! I'll be right back," you yell running out the door.

The brunette smiles but it drops as soon as you are out of sight. She makes a beeline for Mina's office.

She knocked twice before opening the door. "Whilmeina? She called out.

"Yes?" the redhead questioned keeping her eyes trained on the computer screen.

"We are having a movie night tonight. You have an hour to get ready. It's PJs only."

"Not tonight dear I'm busy."

"Yes, tonight," Diane says not backing down.

The redhead meets her gaze lowering her glasses from her face.

"I said I'm busy."

"I understand that but you've been working nonstop stop and it's the weekend. It is time to spend quality time together."

"Okay well, can't I finish.."

"No." Diane cuts her off.

"You may not finish. Because our girlfriend thinks that you don't want to spend time with her."

"Why would she think that?"

"Oh, I don't know Wilhemina maybe because anytime Cordelia leaves you hole yourself up in here until she comes back. Y/n thinks you don't want to spend time with her unless Cordelia is here."

The redhead scoffs "That's ridiculous."

"Is it?" Diane asked in a small voice as her chin trembled.

"Di?"

"I thought maybe it was me. You know I can be needy so maybe I was just seeing things but then y/n confirmed my thoughts once she asked me too. Do you not want to spend time with us? Do you like Cordelia more or something? What is it?"

By this time Diane is full-on sobbing. The redhead moves around her desk bringing the shorter woman into her arms.

"No, my darling. I love spending time with you and y/n. I love you all. I just get swept away in my work and I guess it's easier for Delia to get me away. I'm so sorry. I never meant to make you feel this way. "

Wilhelmina holds Diane close to her as she cries softly. She sways her back a forth whispering affirmations of love in her ear.

"I am so very sorry to be the one to make you feel this way. To feel unwanted. I never ever want any of you to feel that way especially because of me." she whispers.

"It's okay. You didn't know." Diane says.

"I sent y/n to get all of the movie night essentials. She'll be back soon."

"Alright. Let me send this email out and I will go upstairs and shower and change. I promise you I will be quick and then we can watch whatever dreadful musical y/n is sure to make us watch."

Diane chuckles as she nods. "Okay."

"I love you Di. Again I'm so sorry."

Diane nods as she kisses the redhead softly. "I know. I will see you out there okay?"

"Okay," Mina whispers as Diane leaves the room.

As promised Mina finished up her email, showered, and was coming downstairs in her purple pajama pants and shirt. Diane had on her light green pj set, while you wore an old white college t-shirt and a pair of red and white plaid pants.

Diane smiled at Wilhelmina as they both sat on the couch leaving space in the middle for you. You were just finishing up the popcorn.

You walk into the room stunned to see the redhead actually sitting on the couch.

"What are we watching?" you asked.

The women shrugged.

You sat the bowl down on the couch and sat between the two women.

You grabbed the remote but Mina grabbed it from you.

"Before we do this I just want to say that I love you very much and I'm sorry if I ever made you feel like I didn't want to spend time with you. I know I've been really busy but I will try harder to balance work and home. I love you so much little one and I never want to disappoint you."

You smiled softly at her. "Oh, Mina you could never disappoint me. I love and admire you so much. I just wanted to be with you."

"I know. I love you," she says as she kisses you.

"I love you too."

"So Mamma Mia?" you asked causing both women to groan.
