Growing old is a common thing. Growing old is something that just happens whether we like it or not. For Billie Dean Howard growing old was the bane of her existence. She hated it. She tried so many creams, drinks, exercises, surgeries, you name it to stay young. Or at least appear younger than she was.

You never understood why the woman felt like she was any less beautiful because of her age. Billie Dean was the most beautiful woman you'd ever seen. Her blonde hair was soft and always perfect. Her pale white skin was always soft. She always smelled so sweet but also calming.

You watch her as she reads over her book in bed chewing on her bottom lip as her eyes scan the pages. The newest addition to her downward spiral lay perched on her nose helping her eyes read the small words below. Yes, Billie Dean now had to wear reading glasses to see fine print and such. She hated them insisting that she didn't help.

She did.

However, Billie Dean was a stubborn woman and she was not going to be seen in these old lady glasses as she called them. You giggled shaking your head at the woman. She's insane for thinking a pair of lenses and plastic could make her look any less gorgeous than she was. Nonetheless, she didn't believe you which is why the glasses only made their appearance in the safety of your bedroom away from the world.

You crawled into the bed beside her giggling. The blonde's eyes rise above her glasses.

"What?" She questioned.

You shake your head slightly "Nothing."

She pouts marking her page and putting her book down in her lap.

"No, what's so funny?"

"Just...you." you gestured towards her.

"What about me? My glasses? I knew it!" she groans throwing them to the side table.

"I knew they made me look old and ugly. I'm not wearing them anymore. I don't need them anyways...." she bubbles.

You listened to her go on and on about it until finally you cut her off kissing her lips deeply. She moaned into the kiss but was taken off guard so it took her a minute to kiss you back.

Pulling back slowly you look up at her with a
smile. Her mouth hung open and her eyes closed she slowly opened them to look back at you.

"What was that for?" she asked.

"You're beautiful. All of you. With or without your glasses you are drop-dead gorgeous Billie Dean."

The blonde's cheeks turned pink as she ducked her head.

"You think so?"

"I do. I really do."

She smiled as she kissed you softly.

"Thank you baby doll. You always know how to make me feel better."  she smiles shimmering down the bed to snuggle with you.

You take your place in her arms and snuggle deep into her chest breathing in her scent.

"So you don't think I look like a grandma?" Billie whispered.

You chuckled "No I don't. But even if you were a grandma you'd be a hot one."

"Shut up!" she shouts hitting you softly.
