Meet Ricky, Mabel, and Dipper Pines! Three siblings looking to just hang out during the summer with their great uncle Stan in a little town called Gravity Falls! Let's hope that nothing too crazy happens!
It's been about a week since the Pines trio had a run-in with Gideon. Dipper had found some crude way to make himself taller than Mabel due to the fact that she was the "alpha" twin. It was with a crystal similar to Ricky's stones on his medallion. They had somehow gotten caught by Gideon and were shrunken by the psychic.
They eventually came to head when Gideon came to the house and tried to shrink him, thinking he was Stan. But, it didn't work out and Ricky regrew them to normal size while crushing the flashlight. The reason this all happened was because Mabel felt as though Dipper beat her in every single category.
Ricky told them both that they're both special in their own ways and that at the end of the day, it didn't matter who was better than who.
We now see Stan's car crashing into a "handicap parking" sign. The rest of the family and Soos come out of his car.
Stan:"Here we are, the Summerween Superstore!"

Dipper:"Wait, Summer-what?"
Stan:"Summerween!"
He pulls out a calendar.

Stan:"The people of this town love Halloween so much, they celebrate it twice a year. And wouldn't you know it, it's today!"
Ricky:"Do you always carry that calendar in your pocket?"
Stan:"Yes."
Mabel:"Summerween? Something about this feels unnatural."
Soos:"There's free candy!"
Inside the store, we see Ricky laughing while pushing his siblings inside of a wheelbarrow.
Dipper and Mabel:"TO THE COSTUME AISLE!"
Store worker:"Ugh..."
Stan picks up a big barrel of fake blood.
Stan:"Ha ha! When the children come to my door tonight, they're gonna run away screaming from Stan Pines, Master of Fright!"
He looks at a baby and scares it as the baby cries as Stan laughs.
