Ross came into Monica's apartment. "Guys? There's a somebody I'd like you to meet." He announced and a Monkey climbed up to his shoulder making Rachel and Phoebe awe him.
"W-wait. What is that?"
"That' would be Marcel. You wanna say hi?" Ross replied in excitement.
"No, no, I don't."
"Oh, he is precious! Where did you get him?" Rachel cooed.
"My friend Bethel rescued him from some lab." He explained.
"That is so cruel! Why? Why would a parent name their child Bethel?" Pheobe jumped.
"Hey, that monkey's got a Ross on its ass!" Chandler joked.
"Is he gonna live with you, in your apartment?" Luke asked doubtful.
"Yeah. I mean, it's been kinda quiet since Carol left, so..."
"Why don't you just get a roommate?" Monica suggested.
"Nah, I dunno... I think you reach a certain age, having a roommate is kinda pathe-" Ross stopped himself as he realized most of his friends lived with roommate. "...sorry, that's, that's 'pathet', which is Sanskrit for 'really cool way to live'."

Luke hummed. "I don't know. What says more 'New Years' than suicide?" He muttered sarcastically.

"So, how'd it go?" Monica asked.

"How could you not get it? You were Santa last year." Ross protested.
"Yeah what more experience could you need." Luke added.
