NOTHING BAD

I just want to say that I'm having some delays updating because I'm from Ecuador, and I don't know if anyone is familiar with what's going on in my country, but it's basically going to shit. There's been a lot of power outages (we literally have no power for about 10 hours a day). So I have to split my time between school work and writing, which hasn't been easy. But I appreciate all of your support and thanks to everyone who read this.

Also, I didn't know how to fit the fight between Luke and Paolo so I decided to write it here as an extra, like a post credit scene.

TW: violence

To say that Luke was pissed, was an understatement. He hated cheaters, maybe it had something to do with the fact that he himself had been cheated on in the past. But what angered him the most, was that Paolo had tried to cheat on Rachel, who in Luke's opinion deserved only the best, and he couldn't understand how or why would anyone risk losing someone like her.

Not to mention Phoebe had been involved. She was a dear friend to Luke and one of the kindest people he had ever met. She should have never been on the receiving end of the actions of a pig like Paolo.

So yeah, big understatement.

Initially Luke wasn't going to do anything. Not because he didn't want to, but because he didn't want to fall back into old habits.

In the south side, people usually solved their problems with their fists, but Luke wasn't in the south side anymore and most of the time he tried to do this rationally. But when Luke saw Paolo in his friends' building, he wanted nothing more than to knock the teeth out of his mouth and break his hands for touching Phoebe without her permission.

And Luke isn't ashamed to admit that that is exactly what he did.

The moment Paolo opened his mouth, Luke lost all self control, he couldn't handle hearing one more word in his stupid Italian accent. He punched the life out him, and he did not stop until Paolo was out cold. Looking back, that should have been the end of it, but Luke stared at the unconscious man in disgust before stumping on his hands and leaving with a satisfactory cracking sound, knowing that that would be the last thing he would hear from the Italian.
