Melo's pov
Saturday morning arrived, and I woke up feeling refreshed, the excitement for the cinema day still buzzing in my veins.
I stretched, yawned, and swung my legs over the side of the bed, my feet dangling in the air.
After a quick prayer and a gentle stretch, I jumped out of bed and began my morning routine.
I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and applied a light layer of moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated.
Next, I slipped into the shower, letting the warm water wash away any remaining sleepiness.
I hummed my favorite song as I washed myself.
After the shower, I wrapped myself in a plush towel and walked to my closet to choose an outfit.
Yohhh guys be ndiyaphi moyoncwele....now I can't even choose a simple outfit.I spent a good 20 minutes trying on different combinations yesterday and I'm back at it again and this time nothing is promising.
As I'm busy tryna come up with an outfit
Liyanda texted, "Ready?"
"Yohhh wena I'm struggling" I replied.
"Kanjani manje"
" I can't come up with an outfit. I've been going in and out of my closet trying different outfits "
"Yesterday uthe you have a certain one on the top of your head mocc "
"Yes but I didn't like it, the skirt is actually short my dad would fucken never allow me to exit the house with that skirt"
"Yohhh manje o zo yenzani cause we need to be at the mall ngo 9 and it's practically 7:47 and knowing you , you'll take the whole hour getting ready "
" Eish tell me about it. Wena what are you gonna wear "
"Cargo jeans with a black cropped shirt and maybe a leather jacket "
"That's a ncaa outfit "
" Yahhh "
"Haike let me love and leave you to go check other options "
"Okay see you later "
I just left her on seen and gently threw my phone on my bed looking at my closet
After a while I just gave up and wore some casual clothes so I could go eat , stress makes me hungry
As I went downstairs I saw my brother drinking water and all ready to leave....damn only if he was not my brother but anyway asikho lapho
"Bhuti ka mellow" I excitedly said heading to him
He just engulfed me in a hug and said "Sawubona nawe Marshmellow"
"You damn wanted to leave me , the way you so dressed up just to go " I said this folding my hands, looking down putting up a face
"If that's a way of telling me I look good then thank you " he said this with a grin on his face
Yohhh guys mara ubhuti wam' umuhle ncii
I just playfully pushed his shoulder to the side past him and the stool just to sit on the counter
"We have stools Marshmellow"
"Ohh you mean these invisible fellows I know it's just that they don't know what they are doing"
"Ulambile ne "
"Please"
"Okay what do you want to have "
