When 15-year-old Melokuhle Nanayemhle Bhengu and Ntsikayomuzi Ntando Nkosi first meet, they're anything but lovers-they're rivals. Competing for the top spot at school, their clashes are fi...
Friday morning arrived, and I slowly opened my eyes. As I lay in bed, I thought about the amazing time I had at the aquarium with Nkosenye and Milani yesterday. The colorful fish, the playful sea otters, and the stunning shark exhibit all flashed through my mind. I couldn't help but smile as I remembered the fun we had.
We'd even gone out for an ice cream date afterward, and I recalled the laughter and jokes we shared. But unfortunately, today was my last day in Cape Town. I'd have to leave for KZN tomorrow, and the thought of saying goodbye to this beautiful city and Milani's warm hospitality was tough to swallow.
I snapped out of my thoughts and got out of bed, deciding to take a bath to help me relax. The warm water worked its magic, and I felt refreshed as I got dressed and did my morning routine. Then I got dressed.

Next, I gathered my dirty clothes and headed to the laundry machine. After putting in the clothes, I walked into the kitchen, where Milani was busy making cereal.
I hopped onto the counter, asking, "Is cereal on the menu today?"
"Yes, it is," Milani replied.
"Okay," I said.
Milani offered, "Do you want me to make some for you?"
"Nope, I'm not hungry. I'll eat when I'm hungry," I replied.
Milani nodded and continued rinsing her bowl. As she did, she reminded me, "Don't forget your hair appointment at the salon is at 1 pm."
"Sure,"
As I got off the counter, I bumped into Nkosenye, who was entering the kitchen. I don't know, should I greet him cause not doing so would be rude and awkward very awkward or maybe I should be apologizing for bumping into him but like...
"Morning"
"Hey," I replied.
"How did you sleep?" Nkosenye asked.
"Good, I guess," I said.
Nkosenye apologized, "I'm sorry."
"What for?" .
"Your wrist," Nkosenye replied.
"I'm fine, don't worry about it. I've forgiven you," I reassured him.
Nkosenye mentioned, "Dad said we have to leave early tomorrow."
"I know," I said.
Nkosenye added, "Just a reminder."
I shrugged , "Okay."
With that, I headed to check on my laundry. Honestly speaking this whatever thing is happening between us hurts to the core and the fact that he didn't even call me Marshmellow for once is what hurts most. I don't know maybe I shouldn't have brought up the Ndlovu situation, look now they are already causing trouble between the closest siblings ever mxm , I don't even know why I'm thinking about them.
