I’m really sorry that we had to end this book this way, but I know deep down most of you saw it coming. And while it may be heartbreaking, it’s what the story needed, and I hope you understand why I had to take it in this direction. It’s bittersweet, but sometimes, love isn’t always meant to last forever in the way we expect.

It’s really sad to think about the end of Meloyomuzi’s journey, and honestly, breaking them apart hurt me just as much as it did for Melo. Watching their love unfold, knowing where it would lead, has been a tough ride. But at the end of the day, it was necessary for the narrative.

I just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for reading and for supporting this story. Your encouragement has meant the world to me. Honestly, I know I couldn’t have made it this far without your patience, your love for these characters, and your dedication to their story. When I look back at how this book started, comparing Chapter 1 to Chapter 50, I can see just how much I’ve grown. The first few chapters were raw, unpolished, even immature, and I can’t thank you enough for sticking with me through that. Your belief in the journey meant everything, and I’m forever grateful for it.

While this may be the end of Meloyomuzi’s story, it’s definitely not the end of Melo’s journey. Her story is far from over, and her future is bright, even if it’s uncertain right now. I’m excited to tell you that I’m working on a sequel! The road ahead is filled with new challenges, new discoveries, and of course, new loves and heartbreaks. I promise I’ll keep you updated along the way, and just know that I’ve got so much more in store for Melo—and for all of you.

Once again, thank you for being here with me through this. This chapter may be closed, but trust me, it’s not goodbye. It’s just the beginning of something new. So keep your eyes peeled, and I’ll see you soon with more stories to tell. Le ska wara, I’ve got y’all.

Kore, I can’t believe I’ve finished my first ever story at just 15. I’m honestly so proud of myself. When I started this book, I had no idea where it would go, but I kept hearing the advice to just choose a path and trust that God would lead me, and He truly did.

Thank you all for the amazing 7.36K reads and 409 likes—honestly, I’m in awe. Maybe by the time I come back, I'll be surprised with 10K reads, but regardless, thank you so much.

But just a quick thing, guys—please understand that I’m just a teenage girl trying to escape reality through writing. So far, so good, but I’ve dedicated the last few months of my life to this book. Now it’s time for me to focus a bit on my studies and see where that takes me.

I don’t know when I’ll be able to update y’all on Melo's next chapter, but I’ve started working on it. The chapters that I've already started with just need editing there and there , so I’ll be back soon to update you.

Your support has meant the world to me. Honestly, I feel like a simple "thank you" isn’t enough, and I wish I could somehow give back more—if I could send each of you a thousand thank-yous, I would. I appreciate all of you, truly. You’ve helped me through this journey, and I can’t wait to share more with you when the time comes if I do decide to continue writing.

Otherwise yours and only yours
