Choi Jeongsu opened the door wide and stepped outside. He exclaimed in admiration.

"Wow, it's spacious."

Kim Roksu followed him through the door and narrowed his eyes at the sight.

The middle floor of the shelter. There were large balconies here and there around the area for residence, but this seemed to be the largest of them all. Laundry was hung out to dry in an area that took up half of the square. The clothes fluttered in the wind, black in color. Beyond the wide black mass, white, yellow, and orange cloths were finally fluttering.

The winter wind blew occasionally, but the sunlight was shining and it wasn't that cold. Kim Roksu looked around the balcony. There was no one in sight, but he could hear children making noise.

"Um, maybe... over there?"

Choi Jeongsu started walking in the direction of the voice. Kim Roksu followed him, looking around. In one corner of the balcony, there was a pile of what looked like handmade play equipment. There were several balance beams placed on the floor, likely made from broken building materials picked up from around the shelter, and horses made from assembled square building materials.

However, there were no children to be seen, and a voice came from the other side of the area where the laundry was spread out.

As Kim Roksu and Choi Jeongsu approached through the gaps in the laundry, Choi Jeongsu suddenly cried out.

"Ouch, that hurt!"

Looking at the man who was yelling out loud, he saw a child around his waist. It seemed he had bumped into him.

"Whew! You're doing well."

Choi Jeongsu called out to the child with a happy look on his face. --There was no way this man wouldn't notice that a child running towards him. Kim Roksu sighed softly at the man, who had bumped into him on purpose and was delighted.

"Wow, I'm sorry!"

The child looked around 7 or 8 years old, his eyes rolling in surprise. Behind him, other children appeared through the laundry. And behind them, a woman and a man appeared.

"Oh, Kim Roksu..."

It was Kim Min Ah who appeared. Behind her was Bae Pullum.

"Good morning, Kim Roksu, Choi Jeongsu."

Seeing Bae Pullum greet her politely, Kim Min Ah shrugged her shoulders slightly.

"Good morning, Kim Roksu, ...Choi Jeongsu."

Kim Min Ah's eyes wandered slightly, but finally she met Kim Roksu and Choi Jeongsu's.

"Morning. Why are you here?"

Kim Roksu asked, and Kim Min Ah and Bae Pullum looked at each other. Then Bae Pullum spoke on behalf of the group.

"Um... we came here because we heard that the elf girl was helping with the laundry. ...Maybe that's why you guys came here too, Kim Roksu?"

Kim Roksu nodded. "Yeah, we also heard she was here, but... it looks like she's not here."

"Yes. Well... she was with the children until just now, but she seems to have gone to her room today, so we didn't get to see her."

Bae Plum said with a look of deep regret. Next to him, Kim Min Ah also nodded carefully.

"We explain about this shelter and hoping to talk to her, but... it was a bit of bad timing."
