A hectic atmosphere was around the main gate of the shelter.
Ma Seung-jin rushed to the front of the gate, waited for the guards to open it, and went out of the shelter's gate. He found the men he was looking for and rushed over to them.
"Lee Suhyuk, are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
"What happened to that guy?"
"He fainted as soon as the battle ended. But something's wrong. His body is extremely cold, and his pulse is abnormally fast. But he doesn't respond when we try to wake him up."
Ma Seung-jin's face turned pale. But then, a stretcher was brought in from the main gate with a rattling sound. They put the unconscious young man, Choi Jeongsu, on the stretcher and went inside the main gate.
Seeing someone approaching while calling out "Lee Suhyuk," Lee Suhyuk stepped away from the stretcher.
"Grandma Kim, please take a look at this guy. He's unconscious and won't wake up."
"Yes." Grandma Kim nodded and quickly put her hand over Choi Jeongsu. Then she quickly took it away and looked troubled.
"There's nothing wrong with this kid." She looked at her hand carefully and then turned to Lee Suhyuk.
"Inside his body... well, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. There was no response."
Lee Suhyuk looked at Choi Jongsoo again. Then she touched his wrist. The body temperature felt from his wrist was very cold. He wasn't breathing hard, but his pulse was still racing. He certainly wasn't seriously injured during the fight.
Choi Jeongsu had collapsed immediately after the battle. Seeing his body fall like a stick, Lee Suhyuk panicked and grabbed him from behind. He was surprised at how cold his body had become. Lee Suhyuk thought he was in shock, so he hurried back to the shelter.
Just then, another person came running up.
"Lee Suhyuk, what happened to Choi Jeongsu?"
Kim Roksu had no expression on his face. His voice was calm, but Lee Suhyuk could tell he was shaken.
"He suddenly fainted. Anyway, his body is really cold, so we'll warm him up and see how he is."
Kim Roksu came to the side of the stretcher with a blank look on his face. His agitation seemed to have calmed down a little, but he looked down at Choi Jeongsu without saying a word.
When Kim Roksu finally opened his mouth and started to say, "To the makeshift medical room...", a loud voice came from behind him, "Choi Jeongsu!"
Kim Roksu turned around in surprise and saw Katerina. She stopped for a moment, then ran over in a hurry.
Katerina came near the stretcher and suddenly grabbed Choi Jeongsu's hand with both hers.
Ignoring the shocked looks on their faces, she quietly muttered, "Unbelievable..."
Then she removed her one hand from Choi Jeongsu's, held the hand up and muttered something.
Kim Roksu looked puzzled at the sound he had never heard before, but the next moment, something even more surprising happened right in front of his eyes.
A wand appeared in Katerina's hand, where there had been nothing before. It emitted a platinum luster and was a simple thing, with no decorations on its surface. However, on one end there was a row of small holes going all the way around the wand.
