A few days had passed since his meeting with Katerina. She was in the laundry area and seemed to be studying with the children in the library in the afternoon. Kim Roksu shared his conversation with Katerina with Lee Suhyuk and Choi Jeongsu, and dragged Park Jintae into the loop.
Park Jintae heard Katerina's properly and all the pros and cons that came with it. His face turned pale, but he said only one thing.
"Even if I say 'I don't want it,' you guys will still get it."
He quickly left them, but Kim Roksu and Lee Suhyuk were sure. Park Jintae would end up getting involved with them.
In the first place, Park Jintae had become a variable outside of the world by surviving those 24 hours. Moreover, he had accidentally gotten involved with the Cale's world. From that moment on, he was inevitably a fellow in the same hole as us.
Lee Suhyuk and Choi Jeongsu resumed their interrupted work at the Busan Seomyeon Central Shelter. Plans have begun to expand the area under human control with this shelter as the center. Lee Suhyuk is one of the core members, but after completing a survey of the surrounding area, he was waiting for the documents to be compiled. With the newly created map in hand, he was busy moving around the area with Choi Jeongsu.
Meanwhile, Kim Roksu was going back and forth between his room and the library, preparing to teach the spirits the language and also studying on his own. Unlike Cale, who had everything memorized in his brain, Kim Roksu knew very little about the geography of this area, so he himself had a lot to learn.
In that way. Time passed in the blink of an eye.
And then, that day, they finally received a message from the King of the Spirits that he wanted to meet them.
"That place is the citizen park, right?"
"Oh, I see."
The location of the meeting was told to them through Katerina, but the spirits did not know the map. It was a green space just north of the shelter, close by.
"Because it seems to meet all the conditions for the four great spirits."
The path was paved, but the park had dirt and water.
"What time?"
"It was supposed to be tomorrow morning, but..."
Katerina looked troubled.
Kim Roksu looked puzzled about her condition, but the next moment he remembered.
That was the day of his promise with Cale. Remembering this, Kim Roksu also looked troubled.
But he quickly raised his sulky face.
"That's it, it'll work out somehow."
In the worst case scenario, Kim Roksu will take the orb there. How will Cale see Kim Roksu, who has barely been able to communicate with spirits himself, suddenly having to get over them to meet the Spirit King?
(He will definitely find it amusing.)
He will look at it with amusement if it is someone else's problem. --I know this because it is about me.
They checked with Lee Suhyuk about the current state of the public park. Since it was close to the shelter, it was naturally included in the area Lee Suhyuk and his group planned to develop. Apparently, the city park had literally become a den of monsters. During the investigation, the monsters were roughly removed, but they would probably return soon. However, there were people who volunteered to deal with this. Of course, it was Steel Make and Mister Rabbit.
