On an average day, the Kang Groups atmosphere is chill. Though it can only be said about the legal department, their only work is to go through paperworks, signatures and drafting articles. However, today, it's a mess with Kang Hyemi, the legal director of the legal team who's feeling under the weather.

"She's in a bad mood," Minji whispers quickly, returning to her seat and whispering the information to Taesan.

"I knew it as soon as she walked in with that mogu mogu drink in her hand," he whispers back.

"I need to get this signed but I'm too sca-"

"Kim Minji!" the leader's voice echoes through the office as she stands in front of the office door. "Bring the article to me," she adds and walks back to her office. The new intern quickly strides with the file in her hand into the leader's den. Handing the documents she waits, Hyemi's eyes carefully scanning each term. The silent is deafening, other than her flipping the papers. Hyemi looks at the intern for a brief second and flashes a smile, "good work," and signs the papers.

Minji hesitantly takes the file off the desk as Hyemi's gaze stays on her. "Anything else...?"

"No, you can go," Hyemi quickly dismisses the intern. When Minji is out, she lets out an audible sigh and reads the email again. She has lost count of how many times she read that email, over and over again only for it to actually be real. Not a good Monday start. She was hoping someone would walk in and tell her that it was sent by mistake or something. She presses her fingers on her temple, her head still heavy with a hangover from the drinks she had yesterday at the wedding.

A weird memory of being tangled in the arms of someone flashes in her mind but she quickly shakes it off. Leaving her desk, Hyemi walks out of the legal department, into the elevator, and to the top floor where the CEO's office was. She runs into Yejin, walking out with an empty matcha cup in her hand.

"Is he alone in there?" she asks, eyeing the humongous wooden door.

Yejin nods. "Before you fire away at him, he considered a lot-"

"Don't you dare piss me off right now, Yejin," she cuts her off and storms into the room. Finding Taehyun sitting on his chair, with his glasses on and looking over a file. She peeks at the computer, a list of hotels on the screen. "What was that email?" she asks, now standing right in front of his desk.

Taehyun looks up, taking off his glasses. "Whatever it says,"

"You-" Hyemi breathes, "Are you kidding me? Start a whole new team just because a client requested it? And you're making me the lead for it, to do all the site research?"

Taehyun takes a brief pause, like he's building up an answer in his system, "Yeon Creations works with the elites here and in the US. Working with them will save us from going around and bagging at least ten different other clients,"

The name rings a bell but she cannot recall exactly from where. "I know, but can you not ask someone else?"

"He wanted you. That was his only condition." Taehyun shrugs, adding, "He didn't even try to negotiate on our prices or interests,"

She raises her eyebrows. "Who?"

"Meet him when he comes in today for the meeting. I bet you know him very well." he gets up from his seat, like he knew something she didn't. "I have to meet a shareholder. See you noona," he smiles and walks away.

"I'm not gonna do it,"

Taehyun stops, and without turning back he says, "I was never requesting,"

"Kang Taehyun."
