Once the new building was completed, everyone eagerly moved into their new spaces, and things quickly took shape! Scar and Cub decided to stay together, enjoying their new shared environment. Xisuma, preferring solitude, took a cozy apartment all to himself, with Keralis conveniently located just across the hall. XB also chose to stay nearby, offering some comforting proximity to Xisuma. And then, there’s this fascinating White Fox creature, who’s been sticking close to me, Zedaph, and Impulse. His name is Etho—oh, and he’s incredible!

But that’s not all! Just above Etho, there’s this intense glare hybrid who’s been locked in a constant battle with Etho. And next to Ren, there’s this mysterious individual who can perform magic and has an exceptional sense of hearing. His name is Martyn. The excitement continues on the higher floors, where the bird hybrids reside. Grian and his friend Jimmy are up there, each with their own unique flair.

And let me tell you about Scott—he’s a transporter and a brand-new hybrid for me! He’s fascinating! Scott showed me some of the incredible things he’s collected from his travels—gorgeous gems and other dazzling treasures! Each item was more stunning than the last, and I couldn't help but be amazed by the sheer beauty and uniqueness of his collection. It’s like having a personal tour of the most exquisite finds from around the world!

Oh! And guess what? My room now lets me 'blaze up'—that's what Zedaph and Impulse are calling it! My hair and tail literally turn into fire! It’s so cool! And get this, I can take dust baths too if I want to, in this stuff called soul sand. But it’s totally optional. I mean, I can still take 'normal' baths with water, but apparently, a lot of creatures need dust baths! I’m not the only one, so there’s this massive pit in the basement filled with soul sand that everyone can use. It’s wild!

Every now and then, I see that yellow canary just hanging out down there. It’s so weird because he doesn’t actually need a dust bath, right? I’m pretty sure he just shows up to, like, see what we’re doing. Like, what’s his deal? Does he just come to watch? I mean, to be fair, it usually ends up turning into a dust fight anyway—it’s chaos! But still, I can't help but feel curious about him. There's gotta be something more to it, right? Why does he keep coming back?

Oh, and get this—something crazy has been going on in the news lately. Random buildings have been catching fire, but it's not just at random times. It’s like whoever's behind it is waiting for the right moment. At first, everyone thought it was Xisuma or Keralis because the figure looked a lot like them—but now, no one's sure. The guy looks more aggressive, like he's really intent on causing chaos. Nobody’s gotten a clear shot of his face yet, so we have no idea who it actually is. He’s always wearing a ski mask, so we can't even tell his eye color or hair color.

I’ve been thinking—if this guy’s committing crimes like this, he's probably got a buddy helping him out, or he's always on high alert, covering his tracks by hiding his face, maybe even dyeing his hair. But here’s where it gets really weird: the news keeps suggesting that this guy could've escaped from our facility. None of us remember him, though. It’s like he just slipped through unnoticed. But according to the police reports, he was supposedly there around the same time we were.

I think the cops might actually know who he is, but they're just waiting for the right moment—or a solid reason—to catch him in the act.

Zedaph got all the credit for releasing the subjects, but none for burning down the building—they're pinning that on the whole random arsonist thing. I’m literally watching his award ceremony on TV right now, and he looks so nervous, like he's slightly scared. I wish I could be there to support him too, but he could only bring one person, and of course, it was Impulse.

Still, you can tell the whole thing is really getting to him. I mean, I get it—he’s being celebrated for one part of the story, but there’s this whole other side to it that he’s probably anxious about. The timing with the arsonist thing is just too strange, and I can’t help but wonder if it’s all connected somehow.

When everyone started cheering and clapping as Zedaph came on stage, I could see him trying so hard to fight his hybrid instinct to freeze up and let out a baa like a startled sheep. It was such a close call—you could tell he was absolutely terrified. He did manage to fight it off, though, but the struggle was so obvious. I could see Impulse on the sidelines, ready to catch him in case he collapsed, but thankfully, that didn’t happen. Honestly, thank God for that—he would’ve been mortified if he had frozen up in front of everyone.

Now, you're probably wondering why Mumbo and Doc didn’t get all the admiration and attention too. Well, Mumbo didn’t want it. He didn’t want his name tied to that facility, especially since it hurt us and so many others in the first place. As for Doc, he had his own reasons, which I wasn’t too clear on. He said something about just wanting to make sure his "puppy"—which I’m assuming means Ren—was safe and free. He didn’t care about everyone else.

It was really all about Zedaph, with some help from Impulse and Skizz, but even those two didn’t want any of the reward or recognition. They wanted Zedaph to have it all. It’s kind of wild, really, how none of them wanted to step into the spotlight, even though they all played huge roles.

Yeah, going back to the arsonist thing—it’s weird how those fires only started happening a few months after X’s brother passed away. It’s almost like something triggered whoever’s behind it. And if I’m remembering correctly, there was someone else whose brother mysteriously died around the same time too. I think his name was El… or something like that. Maybe there was a "W" or an "H" in front of it? I’m not entirely sure, but it sounds like more than just a coincidence. The timing of these events is just too close, like there’s something bigger at play here.
