ji-yoo tried to figure out why the classroom was so empty. while she did arrive a little faster than usual, her classmates were always at school before her. did they decide to skip class without her ? that was quite mean of them.
she hated the fact that she came earlier. because yeri needed to go with the twins to an event at the kindergarden, ji-yoo had to go with her father. sicheng always left the first from all of them, which meant that he had to hurry up his daughter.
ji-yoo was surely angry, and it was because she was not able to get ready properly. she threw on her worst clothes, not ones she would have carefully placed before heading into the bathroom, and was not happy with how her hair turned out.
another thing she was not happy with was the fact that her classmates were not at their desks, waiting for class to start. where even were they ? it was not like ji-yoo was close to them, but they were supposed to let her know, whenever they left.
she did not get along with them, at all. she was in her final year of middle school, a public middle school. after finishing up elementary school at a well-known private academy, she had to follow the family tradition of going to public school.
why was she made to do this ? well, both sicheng and yeri learnt from their parents that they should interact will all sorts of people, not just ones like them. because of that, they both attended the same public high school.
it was a great experience for both of them, since they met and fell in love. but, they were also easy-going and nice to everyone. sicheng and yeri were extremely open to being friends with anyone who came near them, and had no problem getting along with their classmates.
ji-yoo wished she could be like her parents. because she was very different from them, she was forced to try her best to become friends with her classmates. they were not really the nicest to her, mostly because she was a subject of gossip to them.
she had money, and was able to go everywhere she wanted. why, of all places, did she choose to come to a public school ? was it to make fun of the rest, knowing how perfect she was ? that is what ji-yoo thought her classmates would consider her.
but, she had a little left with them. she was going to let her parents know that she wanted to attend a music academy, and continue her passion for playing the piano. she already knew exactly which academy she was going to.
it was the same one her uncle went to. ji-yoo wanted to look up to him, even if yeri did not mention him much. ji-yoo was aware that her mother and uncle did not talk much, because of how different they were. but, ji-yoo still liked him.
" god, how i wish these kids would learn to grow up. " ji-yoo mumbled, walking over to her desk. she put down her phone, sitting down on her chair. class was about to start, and she thought of what to do. " should i call dad, and tell him about this ? "
ji-yoo looked around her classrom. no one was going to come, right ? she should call her father, tell him what her situation was, and head somewhere. she knew that sicheng was enjoying cigarettes and coffee in the morning, with his friend.
suddenly, as ji-yoo was about to call sicheng, the door opened. multiple of her classmates walked in, with weird smiles plastered on their faces. why were they this weird ? they never smiled towards her, nor did they act this strange.
then, a boy walked in the classroom. he was holding a bouquet of flowers, making his way closer to ji-yoo. when ji-yoo realised that the flowers were for her, her eyes widened. why would he do something like this ? could he have a crush on her ?
" ji-yoo, i was waiting to tell you this. " the boy began. ji-yoo got up, wanting to see what he was about to tell her. " but, i really like you. i know it might be weird, but i have always been in love with you. i also thought you might like flowers. "
