sooyoung did not really expect to find doyoung sitting in his closet, carefully placing some of his clothing on hangers. it was one in the morning, and doyoung was still not going to bed, and instead wished to fix his clothes.

sooyoung had to admit, she had almost gotten drunk at the party. it was not like she had high alcohol tolerance, which meant that even two drinks were too much for her. but, her head felt a little better now, and she had gotten sober.

she made her way to doyoung, and sat down on the drawers placed in the centre of the closet. doyoung did not turn around, and sooyoung wondered if he was sad about something. was it keeping him awake ?

" are you okay ? i doubt that the average person would be placing their prettiest blazers on hangers, at one in the morning. " sooyoung said. doyoung finally looked at her, and tried to smile. it was certainly an attempt to make a joke.

" i could not sleep, so i decided to do what i like most. aside from drinking, but i should not do such thing. " doyoung laughed. sooyoung got off from where she was sitting, and wrapped her arms around doyoung.

" when i told you about that movie, you said you were tired. " sooyoung whispered into doyoung's ear. he nodded, waiting for sooyoung to continue her idea. " you do not want to spend time with your best friend anymore ? "

doyoung had no idea what to answer her. of course, he wanted to spend time with sooyoung, but at the same time, he now found it weird how close they were. and, it was clear seulgi took issue with it, too.

he wondered if jaehyun actually cared that sooyoung was so close to a friend, to a male friend. though, it did not look like jaehyun was a jealous man in general. for sure, jaehyun knew that doyoung did not like sooyoung, in a romantic way.

it still made doyoung think that maybe he and sooyoung should not be so involved with whatever the other was doing. yes, they worked together, and they lived under the same roof, but they were two different people.

was it hard to understand ? probably not, but it was for doyoung. he had gotten used to being with sooyoung. however, he had to try listening to seulgi's complaints. she was his girlfriend, and doyoung had to understand her concerns.
