the penthouse

37 | like a dream.

sooyoung got out of the bathroom. she let out a small yawn, and made her way into her closet. it was going to be another long day at work, even if doyoung was not even awake. she still had to go, as she did not want that other woman yelling at her.

she looked at her outfit options. it had been some time since she wore a nice, mini skirt to work. she picked out a black one, with small buttons on it. sooyoung looked over to her tops, and decided on a nude piece. sooyoung was almost ready.

it did take her some time, until she decided what coat and shoes she chose for her outfit. but, hearing that her phone rang, sooyoung let out a sigh. who was trying to talk to her this early, when she wished to get ready ?

but, sooyoung let out a scream. she did not care if the maids would come and ask what had happend, or if doyoung woke up all angry, because jaehyun had texted her. after waiting all night, he finally wished to talk to her.

as expected, doyoung knocked at the door. he opened it before sooyoung could answer, and it seemed like he was extremely unhappy with sooyoung screaming at the top of her lungs, in the early hours of the morning. he just wished to go back and sleep.

" stop looking at me like that, jaehyun texted me, and he wants to meet me for breakfast ! is this not the most exciting thing ever ? " sooyoung jumped. she looked at the clock, seeing that the time jaehyun requested almost came by.

she was now stressed. she not only had to go and get dressed, but she also needed to do her hair. she threw her phone on her bed, rushing into the closet. sooyoung quickly put on her clothes, and took out her fur coat and black heels.

" this is what happens when you decide to let a woman like you move in with me. " doyoung rolled his eyes, " do not go to work today. i talked to father, and he said he is not going either. go and have your little date. " he told sooyoung.

" okay, but, i have to ask you, should i do a ponytail, or keep it down ? " sooyoung asked. she held up her hair, and softly combed it. when she pulled it up in a ponytail, doyoung nodded. " this is great. i look so.. chic ! i look like a hot secretary. "

" you are none of those, not even a secretary. that is very bad. " doyoung replied. he saw that sooyoung took a pillow from her bed, and ran towards him. " calm down, before you fall and hurt yourself. you can not see your boo, with a black eye. "

" do not make me hit you and cause you a black eye ! " sooyoung yelled after her friend, who already got out of her room. she sighed, turning to the mirror. of course, she looked amazing, dressed in a rather simple outfit. she did not need to go all out.

sooyoung took her purse and walked out of her room, smiling towards doyoung. he was drinking a glass of water in the kitchen, trying his best to wake up. doyoung waved towards her, allowing sooyoung to leave the penthouse.

she was extremely happy about meeting jaehyun, especially since it was earlier than they had planned to go out. sooyoung texted jaehyun where they should meet up for a lovely breakfast. when jaehyun replied, she could not help but jump.

" i am already at work, but we should meet up at the café next to the center's theatre. it is a nice place, and i can get a good table for the both of us. " jaehyun wrote in his message, as sooyoung smiled. she walked into the garage, seeing doyoung's driver.

jaehyun sent her the address, one she showed to the driver. he nodded, and opened the door for sooyoung. the car drove off, and sooyoung made sure to check her make-up for one last time. it all looked good, and sooyoung sighed in relief.

" we are here, miss. thankfully, because it is not bad traffic right now, we got here quite early. " the driver let out a laugh. sooyoung replied by smiling, and got out of the car. she fixed her fur coat, spotting in front of the building.
