seulgi was in a rush. she did not go to work, and it was surely not something she should have been bothered with. her father was not going to miss her, and seulgi was at least relieved that she could go and buy some things.

" i want something different. i am going to attend a party with the theme of moulin rouge, so if you could suggest some things. " seulgi told evelyn, who nodded. she did not seem sure of the theme, though.

she took seulgi to a corner of the store. no one else was there, and it made seulgi think if that was the exclusive part of the store. seulgi watched as evelyn brought a tray, filled with all different types of diamond rings.

" so, i would suggest a ruby ring. i feel as if the moulin rouge needs to have some of that. if i could suggest one, it would surely be this ring. " evelyn held a ring up, but seulgi did not really like it. she scrunched her nose.

the diamond was way too big for seulgi's taste. and, evelyn showing it to her meant that she considered seulgi one of those rich women, who only wanted to show off. it was something ridiculous, how obsessed they were with huge and useless diamonds.

suddenly, seulgi looked away from the tray evelyn tried to show her. instead, she saw a smaller ring, one that did not have such a huge diamond. instead, that one had multiple smaller ones. it was so beautiful.

" that one over there. " seulgi pointed it out, as evelyn turned over to it. she walked to where it was displayed, quickly followed by seulgi herself. " i want to get this one. could i try it on, first ? i want to see the size i need to buy. "

seulgi's question was soon answered, when she saw doyoung walking behind sooyoung. he was scrolling down his phone, but stopped the moment sooyoung told him something. he looked up to her, a tired expression appearing on his face.

were they dating ? seulgi could not help but wonder how did she miss such an announcement. doyoung was a respectable, and wealthy, young man, who was always the talk of the town when it came to the women he was with.
