school was hell, and it was worse when ji-yoo realised that akihiko was secretely talking about her behind her back. she could not believe that he was doing all of that, after giving her flowers and confessing his love for her.

ji-yoo should not be bothered by it, but seeing that akihiko was pointing towards her and laughing, while talking to another girl. why were they so mean to her ? it was like she was not even there, by how unbothered they were about it.

even if it hurt her, and she badly wanted to tell someone about it, she never told her parents about her school struggles. ji-yoo was aware that her parents were too worried about their daily lives, to think of her.

when she saw that the bell rung loudly, ji-yoo immediately got up from her desk and walked away. it was just twelve, she had two more classes, but she did not want to stay at school anymore. she had to figure out a way to go home.

she walked into the schoolyard, wandering around. ji-yoo could go to the school nurse, tell her she was sick, but she was not going to believe her at all. what was ji-yoo going to do ? it was not like she could be able to skip school and get away with it.

well, ji-yoo obviously could. yeri and sicheng would not yell at her and scold her for it. but, at the same time, ji-yoo did not want to do such thing. she tried to think of anything she could do, until she saw akihiko in the yard.

" are you following me ? i swear, all you did today was look after me. " he spoke, glaring towards ji-yoo. she widened her eyes, shocked to hear that he accused her of actual stalking. why was he so weird ? he liked her not too long ago.

" i will never follow you around, especially since you literally talk like you did not give me flowers. " ji-yoo sharply replied, looking back at him. if she wanted, she was going to bring up the fact that his parents worked at her family's company.

but was she going to do it ? not really. ji-yoo found it odd to bring up her family whenever she had problems in her life. yes, they had a lot of money, but she knew that her last name was, in the end, just a name.

" very funny, ji-yoo, but sometimes, we have to do charity for the ones who we feel bad for. it is so stupid that you chose to come to this school. " akihiko replied to her words with a laugh, avoiding her looks. " you should have gone to a private academy. "

" why ? i am good here, too. it is a stupid school, it has nothing to do with where i come from. " ji-yoo crossed her arms over her chest. she was not going to listen to him anymore. she went to this school because she wanted to.

just a few months and she could escape all of it. ji-yoo was either going to attend a music school, or go to a private academy. her great-grandfather, her grandfather, her father, all of them went to the same school. she was going to go there too.

she was going to be more powerful than any of them. because of people like akihiko, her other classmates and all people who tried to make her feel bad, she was determined to show them how much she could become.

" either way, miss. dong ji-yoo, you will always be remembered as a privelleged girl who came, because she wanted to be special. well, you made it. " akihiko continued to laugh, trying to make her feel bad. " are you going to skip this class, too ? "

as ji-yoo tried to figure out a proper answer for him, a car parked in front of the gates. when ji-yoo turned around, her eyes widened. the orange lamborghini was just as flashy as one man on earth could be.

" uncle mark ! " ji-yoo yelled as loud as she could. when she saw that he got out of his car, wearing his ridiculous pair of jeans and t-shirt with one of his album artworks on it, she ran up to him. " hello ! "
