Y/N stood in front of her full-length mirror, applying the final touches to her makeup. She wore a sleek black dress that hugged her curves just right, with a daring slit up the side. Her hair was styled in soft waves, and she added a touch of sparkle with some subtle jewelry.

She couldn't shake the thought of Renee and the awkward tension from their previous interaction. Why did Renee's abrupt change in tone bother her, while other flirtations felt less significant? Y/N decided it was because Renee had an inexplicable effect on her.

Shaking off her thoughts, Y/N grabbed her coat and headed out the door.

When she arrived at Sabrina's place, she was greeted by a surprising scene. What Sabrina had described as a "small party" had turned into a lively gathering with people everywhere. Y/N greeted Sabrina at the door, who welcomed her with a warm hug.

"Glad you could make it! I hope you're ready for a fun night. It's a bit more crowded than I expected, but that just means more fun, right?" Sabrina said with a grin.

Y/N laughed and nodded, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of people.

"I'll introduce you around. Come on!"

Y/N mingled with some familiar faces, catching up with friends and acquaintances from the industry. As she sipped her drink, she spotted Renee across the room. Renee looked stunning in a deep blue dress that accentuated her figure and highlighted her striking features. Her hair was styled elegantly, and she wore a confident smile that made her stand out.

Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she watched Renee. It was a mix of admiration and something else—an awareness that she couldn't quite pin down. One of Y/N's friends noticed her distracted gaze.

"Hey, are you okay? You seem a little... off."

Y/N forced a smile, trying to shake off the feeling. "Yeah, just a bit tired, I guess. I'm good."

Just then, Sabrina approached Y/N with a curious look. "So, what's the deal with you and Renee? I saw the comments and all that on Instagram. What's going on?"

Y/N hesitated for a moment, then shrugged. "Oh, it's nothing really. Just some playing, I guess."

As they talked, Renee approached from behind. Her voice was a soft whisper in Y/N's ear, sending a shiver down her spine. "Hey there. Mind if I steal you away for a moment?"

Y/N turned, her heart racing slightly. "Renee, hi. Didn't expect to see you here."

"Seems like we both enjoy a good party."

Sabrina, sensing the shift in energy, excused herself. "I need to check on something, girls. Have fun!"

As Sabrina left, Renee and Y/N found themselves alone. The atmosphere between them was charged, a mix of playful banter and underlying tension.

"So, how's the life of the newest sensation? Still causing a stir everywhere you go?"

"Trying to keep up with the hype. And you? Still dazzling everyone with that presence of yours?" Y/N said, smiling a little.

"Always. So, what's the verdict on tonight? How are you finding the party scene of just a few close friends?"

Y/N let out a soft laugh. "It's definitely lively. A bit of a contrast from the VMA, but I'm managing."

Renee let out a smirk. "You know, next big event I have to introduce you, I might just tell everyone how you made me shiver with just a look today."

Y/N raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly. "Oh, really? And how will you introduce me? Y/N, the one who made you shiver?"
