Renee stirred awake, her senses slowly returning as she felt the soft warmth of the bed and the peaceful presence beside her. She smiled faintly, eyes still closed, relishing the comfort of Y/N's steady breathing. The memories of last night flickered through her mind like a sweet dream, filling her with a sense of contentment she hadn't felt in a long time. She turned to look at Y/N, only to find the space beside her empty now.

Confused, Renee sat up, her fingers tracing the warm spot Y/N had just left. Renee slipped out of bed and padded quietly toward the kitchen. She decided that breakfast in bed would be a perfect way to start the day, something simple but thoughtful.

She hummed softly to herself as she moved around the kitchen, frying eggs, cutting some fruit, and toasting bread. Renee smiled at the small tray she had assembled, pleased with herself. It wasn't extravagant, but it was heartfelt. She couldn't wait to see Y/N's reaction.

Balancing the tray, Renee made her way back to the bedroom. As she entered, her eyes scanned the room. But to her surprise, Y/N still wasn't there. Just as she was about to call out, the sound of a door opening caught her attention. She turned toward the bathroom and froze.

Y/N stood in the doorway, her hair damp, a towel loosely wrapped around her body. The soft light from the bathroom framed her figure, making her look almost ethereal. Renee's breath caught in her throat as she took in the sight. Y/N hadn't noticed her yet, busy drying her hair with another towel. When she finally looked up, she caught Renee's wide-eyed stare and smirked.

"Well, good morning," Y/N teased, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Enjoying the view, are we?"

Renee blinked, snapping herself out of the trance. She let out a breathy laugh, trying to play it cool. "I mean, I wasn't expecting that view, but I'm not complaining."

Y/N chuckled, letting the towel slip a little as she approached the bed, clearly enjoying Renee's flustered reaction. "You made breakfast?" she asked, gesturing to the tray in Renee's hands.

Renee nodded, holding it out like an offering. "Yeah, I thought I'd bring you breakfast in bed. But, uh, it looks like you had other plans."

Y/N gave her a playful smile as she set the towel aside and reached for a shirt and jeans from the chair nearby. "I appreciate the effort. But I think I'm going to change the 'in bed' part of that plan."

Renee's gaze followed Y/N as she casually pulled on her clothes, every movement seemingly in slow motion. Y/N was fully aware of the effect she had on Renee, and the subtle tease in her actions wasn't lost on her.

Once dressed, Y/N plopped down on the bed next to Renee, giving her a playful nudge. "Alright, let's eat before it gets cold."

Renee shook her head, trying to focus on the food rather than the lingering heat in her cheeks. They settled in, sitting cross-legged on the bed as they shared the breakfast tray between them. For a moment, it was just the peaceful clatter of cutlery and quiet hums of appreciation for the meal.

Y/N broke the silence first, a sly grin on her face. "You know, I didn't think you had it in you—making breakfast like this. You're full of surprises."

Renee raised an eyebrow, feigning offense. "What's that supposed to mean? I can be cute when I want to be."

Y/N laughed, shaking her head. "Sure, I believe you." She took another bite of toast and glanced at Renee with a glint in her eyes. "But seriously, thanks. This is nice baby."

Renee smiled, feeling a wave of warmth at Y/N's words. "You're welcome. I just wanted to do something small... after everything."

Y/N's playful demeanor softened for a moment as she looked at Renee, her expression sincere. "I appreciate it. More than you know."
