The next morning, Renee and Y/N sat across from each other at the breakfast table. The sunlight filtered softly through the kitchen window, casting a warm glow over their quiet moment. Y/N was buttering toast while Renee took a sip of her coffee, eyes flicking between Y/N and the piano in the other room, where their (second) song lingered in her mind.
"You know," Renee began, setting her cup down, "I've been thinking about that song we worked on last night."
Y/N looked up, raising an eyebrow with a curious smile. "Yeah? What about it?"
Renee leaned forward slightly, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "What do you think about recording it together? I mean, really recording it—like, going to the studio, making it official?"
Y/N paused for a second, surprised, before a slow smile spread across her face. "You're serious?"
Renee nodded, her excitement building. "Completely. I think it could be... something special, you know? Something just for us."
Y/N grinned. "I love that idea. I mean, I think its something real very special, something we could share... that's kind of amazing."
Renee's heart fluttered at Y/N's words. "Exactly! I'll call my manager, set everything up for the next few days. We'll have the studio to ourselves."
"Just the two of us, huh?" Y/N teased, taking a bite of her toast and winking. "That could get interesting."
Renee blushed but shot back a playful look. "Oh, it will be."

Later that day, after a quick call to her manager, Renee had made all the arrangements for the studio session. A few days passed, and when the day arrived, she and Y/N found themselves alone in the dim, softly lit recording studio. Renee sat behind the piano while Y/N held the guitar, both ready to work on capturing the magic they had created that night.
As they warmed up, Renee played the opening chords, the soft melody filling the room. "You ready?" she asked, glancing over at Y/N with a smirk.
Y/N strummed a chord on her guitar, eyes locked with Renee's. "Born ready, love."
They started recording, their voices blending together perfectly. But every now and then, their eyes would meet, and the tension in the room seemed to grow thicker. Renee found herself sneaking glances at Y/N, her heart racing a little faster each time. At one point, after a particularly beautiful verse, Y/N leaned back and smirked.
"You know," Y/N teased, her voice low, "you sing even better when you're staring at me like that."
Renee's face flushed, but she smirked back, biting her lip. "Maybe I'm just trying to distract you."
Y/N's grin widened. "Oh, you're succeeding. But two can play that game." She stood up, moving closer to Renee's piano, her presence intoxicating. Renee felt the warmth of Y/N next to her as they played through the final verse, voices growing softer, more intimate.
When the song ended, the silence in the studio was almost electric. Y/N leaned in slightly, their faces inches apart, teasing the space between them. "I think we nailed it baby," Y/N murmured, her breath warm against Renee's cheek.
Renee's heart pounded. "Yeah... we did," she whispered, their lips dangerously close.
But before anything could happen, Y/N pulled back with a playful smirk. "We should do a photoshoot for the cover, don't you think?"
Renee exhaled, feeling both relieved and a little disappointed. "Yeah... we should," she agreed, still catching her breath.
