Chapter 2

Amyra's POV
Today is an important day because I need to greet our chief guest as my college throwing their 60 years anniversary function. I was so nervous and shaking. My best friend, Eyana was calming me down and assured me that everything will be alright.

"Relax Amy. Everything will be good. Stop worrying sweetie."

"I just couldn't calm down Yana. I'm so scared. The principal told me that the chief guest is the CEO of THE KHAN'S EMPIRE. Everyone told me that he is a dangerous person. I don't know whether to believe them or not." My hold on the flower bouquet tightened.

" There's nothing like that. I know you can do this!!! GO SWEETIEE!!!"

A sound came from the entrance. "There! The chief guest arrived. Go greet him, Amyra." I saw Kabir coming towards me. " Calm down, Amyra. He is not gonna eat you." Kabir whispered to me while laughing. Eyana giggled from behind. " Shut up Kabir!". I said. Gathering all my courage, I walked confidently towards the entrance only to meet a pair of blue eyes. He got a pointed nose, perfect jawline, his hair slightly touching his forehead looking so fucking hot. ' What the hell are you doing idiot! You have a fiance!' My subconscious hit me. ' I am sorry Rayan.'

I gave him the bouquet that I was holding and said " Welcome to our college, sir. " " Thank you. "
He replied while making eye contact with me. I felt myself shivering a little hearing his voice. I, then turned to stand by Eyana and Kabir's side.
" He looks dangerous and scary. I think he can kill anyone by just looking at them." Kabir said. " Yes, even I am scared to even look at him. I wonder how you greet him while putting a smile on your face." Eyana said to me.

" I just shrugged off the bad feelings and gathered some courage to face him. " I said looking at them. They made an 'o' face. Then, we walked towards the hall where the function was being held. Kabir, Eyana and I took our seat in the front row as we were in charge of this function. The host welcomed our guest and invited the principal to give some speech.

After a few minutes of the principal's speech, he then invited the CEO of THE KHAN'S EMPIRE, which is our chief guest to give a talk on the stage. As he was invited, he got up from his seat and walked towards the stage with pride and confidence. As he walks, the aura screams dangerous.

"I like his blue eyes. HIs eyes are attractive." Said Eyana.Kabir made an 'eww' face and said "Don't you think my eyes are far better than his? Well, I have the most attractive eyes, to be honest." He said as he lifted his brows and made eye contact with me and Eyana. We burst out laughing. "You are really being so delulu." Eyana said in between her laugh. " In which angle your eyes are attractive? Actually yes! They are attractive enough to attract the ghosts" I said while laughing. He gave us a death glare and we stopped laughing, not fully because we were controlling our laughs. Kabir is my one and only male best friend. He is like a brother to me. He and Eyana will always be there for me whenever I need them.

Zayn's POV

I stepped out of my car heading toward the entrance. This is the college where my sweetheart, Myra is studying. She will complete her studies in just one month.. I am so eager to see her.

As I stood near the entrance, I saw my love walking towards me with her head high and full of confidence. Oh man! She is so breathtaking. She came to me handing me the bouquet and welcomed me. I looked at her beautiful brown eyes for a few seconds, studying her. She was a bit nervous but it wasn't that visible because she put up the confidence and handed me the bouquet. My baby is scared of me. I don't like that. I wanted her to be comfortable with me but it's okay because she don't know me yet.As I took the bouquet, my fingers brushed with hers sending shivers down to my spine. Then, she went beside her friends and I started walking to the hall with the principal beside me.

I sat down on the VIP couch while the host greeted me. After a few moments the principal invited me to give a talk. I made my way to the stage and grabbed the mic and gave a speech. While I was giving the talk, my gaze fixed on my baby and I didn't look anywhere else because she is the only one who makes me feel more like a human.

She didn't look at me as she was talking to her friends. She was laughing with them. My baby looks like an angel while laughing. I wish I could be the reason for her laugh. I will be...soon. She then looked at me and our eyes locked. I felt my world stopped at that moment, but that moment doesn't last longer because she quickly looked away.

Once I finished my talk, I went down and settled on the couch. A few hours later, the function came to an end. I sneaked out from the crowd, made sure no one noticed and followed my girl to the corridor.When she was alone there, I walked towards her and stopped right behind her. I cleared my throat and said,

"Amyra?"
