What it really is like
One day I am going to shine
To become the woman
I wanna look uptoThe one with fire in her soul
A force to reckoned with
Unapologetic and opined
She feels aliveShe can make others smile
Speaking words that stirr a gentle rythmn of liveliness and butterflies
In one's soul
Someone who even her enemies respect
Someone, who puts perspective into place
And can inspire action
She lives a life that is worth living
And breathing
She is a girl who makes it worth living
Every moment of itAllowing others to feel the warmth of her shine
To feel protected as they stand behind her
To feel themselves when beside herTo feel acknowledged
Seen and heard
Looked after
For that's what who She is
A giver and a protectorA girl's girl
But for today,
I want to wallow in pity
Today, I want the earth to swallow me whole
And erase my existence from her core memories
If not, then TodayI just want to sleep
A good, carefree sleep.
