I am no longer impressed by intensity
( unless it's property transfers and handwritten letters )
For it only led to heartaches
And crashesShow me consistency instead
For a mother's love shaped the daughter
For a fathers dedication made the best sportsperson
For an artist muse, his heart craftings touch the people's soul
For it was drop of water everyday that shaped the stone
For it was gradual pressure and downfall that resulted in a stunning diamond
So it's not about intensity
So show me a love, an adoration
That I can carry everyday
Like a cup of steaming coffee
Or a comforting hug in rainy days
Maybe that's why
My sadness, is a scarily embracing cocoon to me
For it's the one who always
Stays.
