The days following the dinner were filled with a sense of relief and renewed energy for both Ekansh and Naina. Their conversation with their families had cleared the air and set a new tone for their relationships with their loved ones. It was a crucial step in their journey, and both of them were feeling optimistic about what the future held.

As they settled into their new normal, they found themselves more focused on enjoying each other’s company and exploring their relationship without the heavy cloud of family expectations looming overhead. The dinner had not only strengthened their bond but also created a more supportive environment around them.

**Ekansh’s POV**

It was a Friday evening, and I found myself looking forward to a quiet night in with Naina. The week had been busy, and it felt good to finally have a moment to relax together. We decided to cook dinner at Naina’s place, a small but enjoyable tradition we had started recently.

I arrived at her apartment with a bag of groceries and a smile on my face. The kitchen was already bustling with activity as Naina prepared ingredients for our meal. Her music played softly in the background, adding to the cozy atmosphere.

“Hey!” she called out, turning to greet me. “Perfect timing. I was just about to start on the pasta.”

“Great!” I said, setting the groceries down and moving to join her. “I’ve got the wine, too. Thought it would be a nice touch.”

Naina grinned as she took the wine from me. “Sounds perfect. Let’s get started!”

We spent the next hour cooking together, laughing and chatting as we worked. It was moments like these that made everything feel right—simple, joyful, and intimate.
