24th July
I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring, earning a loud groan from me.
I could then hear constant notifications coming from my phone, making me puzzled as hell. Who the fuck would be texting me so early in the morning?
I reached over to the night stand, unlocking my phone and going to messages. My eyes widen at the group chat I was added to.

I was about to turn off my phone to get ready but I saw an incoming call from Matthew.
"Hey Hal, how's school so far?"
"School's fine, I also got into the Women's Basketball Team as their physio!!"
"That's great Hal, I'm proud of you."
"Thanks Mat. I wish mom and dad would still be here and they'd be proud."
"Hals... I know you miss them, I do too. I think about them everyday too. But we have to move on, I know it's not easy. But they'll still be in our hearts forever. I promise I'll be here for you to talk to or vent out, kay?"
"Yeah. Thanks Mat, I love you."
"I love you too sis."
"Awwww, our captain said I love you to a special someoneeeeee" I heard from the other end of Mat's phone.
"Shut up." He directed to his teammates as he ended the call.
I looked at the time and it was 9:20. I had 10 minutes to get ready, and then half an hour to reach arena.
I got out of bed and brushed my teeth, then going to my wardrobe which only consisted of nike shirts and sweats, a few soccer jersey's, and some UCONN merch. I needed more clothes, god.
I then decided that since it was my first day, I decided to wear something to represent the school, so I put on a UCONN sweater and sweat pants.
I checked the time and it was already 9:35, meaning I had 25 minutes to reach the arena and start my first day there, I was nervous, but excited. Especially meeting last year tournament champions.
It was 9:55, I was now holding a cup of coffee in my hand, which apparently was a congratulatory gift from Haylie. And she made this coffee TOO SWEET. I'm gonna get diabetes.
I stepped into the arena, feeling a mix of amazement and nervousness. On one hand, I was excited to meet my fellow teammates, and on the other hand, I was nervous about what they'd say about me.
Upon stepping foot into the arena, I could hear sounds of the basketball dribbling, shoes squeaking and a few cheering and yelling.
I could tell the coach had noticed me by the entrance, he whistled for the team to stop and gathered around me, nodding towards me as well, giving me the cue to go to him as well.
So I did. And as I stood beside him, I was met with a bunch of tall, muscular women.

Second chapter!! I did three chapters in school. I wrote an essay and my hands are sore. Also, chemistry is PISSING ME OFF. i dont understand shit
also gang im lazy so i'll stop using grammar for the next few chapters and im also open to ideas
