One Week, Three Days Later

Friday

"So....Skylar are you ready for your birthday trip?," I said while smiling at her through the FaceTime call.

"Girl I can't wait!! I can't wait to have fun with you and Jorden....and my annoying ass brother," Skylar said.

"Mmhm I am really excited! Cancun is going to be so much fun," I said while smiling.

"Yess! Ok so you getting an Uber to the airport?," Skylar asked.

"Yeah I already ordered it, just grabbing my last few things."

"Ok me too. Jorden is about ready so I'll see you at the airport. Make sure you have my gifts," Skylar said.

"Girl bye," I said. She giggles and I end the FaceTime call. I gather everything I will need and take my suitcase towards the front of my condo. Once I get the notification the Uber has arrived, I grab everything, lock up my condo and head out. I head outside and the Uber driver is right in front of the entrance. I place my items in the trunk, get inside, close the door, and the driver pulls off. I feel my phone vibrate in my hand at a notification. I look and see it's a text from Kai.

You on the way to the airport?

Yeah in the Uber now

Cool....can't wait to see you.

Boy bye.

Within 40 minutes, I am pulling up to the airport. I get out and grab my suitcase and then start to walk inside. I look around as I roll my suitcase for Skylar and Jorden.

"Mmm damn that hair looks good on you baby....I can't wait to pull it from the back," Kai said from behind me. I scoff as I turn to look at him. He smiles that usual goofy smile and I look around before looking back at him.

"Kai shut up. Ugh. Be careful how you talk on this trip," I warned while pointing a finger towards his face.

"Yes ma'am....you know what that talk does to me by the way," Kai said while winking. I shake my head as I go to grab my suitcase, but Kai grabs it instead.

"I got you," Kai said. I look at him strangely as he leads us toward the check in gate. As we approach, we see Skylar and Jorden at a check in kiosk and we go to approach them.

"Hey ugly!," Kai called out. Oh my god he is so embarrassing! Skylar looks in our direction and she smiles and waves happily.

"Hey y'all!," Skylar said. I walk right up to her and we share an embrace before Kai does the same. I share an embrace with Jorden and Kai and Jorden share a dap and embrace.

"Ahh I'm so excited! I can't wait to lay on the beach! And drink!," Skylar said while clapping her hands a few times. Kai mushes her in her forehead and she slaps his chest.

"Kai I swear to god you better behave on this trip. Don't bring no nasty girls to any of my festivities," Skylar said while turning her nose up. Kai smacks his lips.

"I'm not even on that....but if a bad bitch wants to chill then shit I'll chill," Kai said while smirking. I do my best not to roll my eyes. Why is he like this?!

"Boy you better not ruin my trip," Skylar warned.

"Chill I'm cool. Scouts honor," Kai said. Skylar rolls her eyes and we all finish checking in. We then check our bags and then make our way to TSA. We all grab a quick grab and go breakfast and then wait at the gate. Skylar is taking selfies with Jorden of course. I know she is going to be flicking her camera for every moment.
