THIRD PERSON POV

"May nagwawala sa labas ng building. Hinahanap ka. Ayaw mong papasukin?"

Saglit na tinapunan ng tingin ni Justice ang kaibigang si Donovan na kapapasok lang sa loob ng opisina niya. Hindi niya pinansin ang tanong nito bagkus ay muling sinilip mula sa glass window ang taong kanina pa niya pinapanood sa pagwawala sa labas ng kumpanya niya.

"Want to watch a very interesting scene?" tanong niya kay Donovan na may kung anong pinakikialaman sa mga files na nasa ibabaw ng table niya. May kinuha itong isang file bago lumapit at tumayo sa tabi niya saka sabay nilang pinanood ang nagwawala sa labas.

"You mean that?" turo nito sa taong kanina pa niya pinapanood.

"I guess."

"You aren't scared of getting your name flash in the news tomorrow?" Tatawa-tawang tanong ni Donovan sa kanya habang binubuklat nito ang file na hawak.

"I know how to clean my mess, Crawford. Unlike you who's name always in the news headline."

"Whatever. Anyway, this asshole an offender?" maya maya ay usisa ni Donovan sabay pinakita ang isang page mula sa hawak na file. Tiningan lang iyon ni Justice saka muling tumingin sa labas ng glass window. Naroon pa rin ang taong nagwawala habang pinipigilan ng security ng building.

"Yeah, right. I'll pass him to you. Ikaw na ang bahala." Iyon lang pagkatapos ay umalis na siya sa harap ng glass window at kinuha ang cellphone na nasa loob ng drawer. Napangiti na lamang si Justice sa message na bumungad nang buksan niya iyon. Message iyon ni Artemis galing mismo sa cellphone niya. Pansamantalang nagpalit sila ng cellphone ng dalaga habang ang cellphone nito ay nasa kanya.

"Mukhang kailangan ko nang umalis. Ngumingiti ka na naman mag-isa. Tsk."

Mabilis siyang nilayasan ni Donovan bitbit ang file na kinuha nito sa opisina niya. Napangisi na lamang siya.
