The hotel was calm, with Y/n sitting on a big sofa, reading her book. She didn't notice the tension growing between Lucifer and Alastor. On her left, Alastor sat too close, his grin wide as usual."Y/n, my dear, how are you feeling today? It's such a lovely day, don't you think?" Alastor asked, leaning closer.
"Uh, I'm fine. Thanks, Alastor," Y/n replied, not looking up from her book.
Lucifer couldn't stand it anymore. He quickly sat on Y/n's right, placing an arm around her. He smiled, but his eyes showed his frustration. "Sister, you look wonderful today. Don't you think it's time we spent some family time together?"
Y/n, still focused on her book, nodded. "Sure, yeah."
Alastor leaned even closer to Y/n, almost touching her. "Ah, family time. So sweet. Though I must say, Y/n has been great company for me too."
Y/n glanced up briefly. "Uh-huh."
And then, the silent war began.
Lucifer, pretending to shift in his seat, nudged Alastor with his elbow. Alastor, still grinning, pushed back slightly.
Across the room, Charlie, Angel Dust, and Vaggie watched. Charlie sighed. "They're at it again."
Vaggie rolled her eyes. "Do they ever stop?"
Angel Dust, loving the drama, chuckled. "This is better than TV."
On the sofa, Alastor adjusted his suit, leaning even closer to Y/n. "We've been spending a lot of time together, haven't we, Y/n? I feel we're getting... closer."
Lucifer's eye twitched. "Closer? I don't think so. My sister doesn't need to be close to anyone but me."
Y/n, still not noticing the battle going on, kept reading.
Lucifer, growing frustrated, elbowed Alastor again, this time harder. Alastor, not backing down, pushed back even more. The two demons continued shoving each other, quietly fighting for space next to Y/n.
Charlie shook her head, watching the scene unfold. "Unbelievable."
By now, Lucifer was nearly falling off the sofa from Alastor's pushes. But just when Lucifer was about to shove back, Y/n looked up from her book. "Are you guys okay?"
Both demons froze, wearing innocent smiles.
"Yes, sister! Everything's fine," Lucifer said quickly.
"Absolutely fine, dear Y/n," Alastor added with his usual grin.
Y/n looked at them suspiciously, then shrugged and went back to reading. As soon as she did, the shoving resumed, both trying to push the other off the sofa without being noticed.
The silent battle continued, with neither willing to give up. But Y/n, unaware of it all, stayed focused on her book while the others in the hotel quietly enjoyed the show.
