Extermination Day was approaching. The skies over Hell had grown more ominous, as if the very air was thick with anticipation of the war to come. The hotel bustled with frantic preparations; Charlie, Vaggie, and the others had been working tirelessly to ready the defenses. Everyone was on edge, for it wasn’t just the hotel at stake—it was their lives.Lucifer, too, had made preparations to ensure his daughter, Charlie, and the hotel were safe, but his mind kept drifting to Y/n. For days now, she had locked herself in her room, refusing to come out. She hadn't even spoken a word about Alastor’s confession, leaving everyone—including Alastor—wondering what was going on in her mind. Lucifer assumed her sudden isolation was because of his disapproval of Alastor, but something far darker was at play. Y/n had been fighting a battle of her own, one that no one, not even Lucifer, could truly understand.
Inside her room, Y/n paced back and forth. She had barely eaten, barely slept. Her once pure, angelic energy was being consumed by a darker force she couldn’t control. Ever since the incident at the ball, where she had craved angelic blood, things had been getting worse. Every moment, she felt herself slipping further away from the light that once filled her heart. Her wings—once six radiant, white feathers—had turned black, corrupted, and grown sharp thorns. Every glance in the mirror terrified her; the reflection staring back wasn’t Y/n anymore. It was something darker, something demonic.
Alastor had noticed her absence right away. He had visited her room multiple times, knocking gently and trying to check on her, but every time, she had pushed him away, insisting she was fine. But Alastor wasn’t convinced. He knew there was something more. He felt it in his gut, an uneasiness that gnawed at him. Though he would never admit it openly, he was worried about Y/n. Even Lucifer, who normally kept a cool demeanor, seemed unsettled by his sister’s sudden withdrawal. But Alastor didn’t push further—he trusted that when she was ready, she would come to him. What he didn’t know was that time was running out.

The day of Extermination finally arrived. The sky above Hell was blood-red, streaked with black clouds that rumbled ominously. Charlie had gathered everyone in the lobby, going over their final preparations. Vaggie, Husk, Angel Dust, and the others were tense but ready. Lucifer stood by his daughter’s side, offering silent support. His sharp eyes scanned the room, occasionally glancing towards the hallway that led to Y/n’s room. She still hadn’t emerged.
Alastor stood in the shadows, watching the room carefully. His eyes flickered towards the door to Y/n’s room every now and then, hoping she would finally show herself. But as the minutes ticked by, his concern deepened. Something was wrong. He could feel it.
Lucifer, too, had grown concerned. He hadn’t seen Y/n in days, and as much as he wanted to blame Alastor for her sudden change, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something else was at play. He had ordered Y/n to stay in a safe place during the battle, but he doubted she would listen.

Y/n, meanwhile, was at her breaking point. Inside her room, she had been holding on to her last shred of control for what felt like an eternity. The demonic energy coursing through her veins had reached its peak, and no matter how hard she fought, she couldn’t contain it anymore. Her once angelic form was slipping away, replaced by something monstrous. Her wings had fully turned black, jagged and twisted with thorns. Her once radiant eyes were now tinged with red, and horns had begun to protrude from her head. She felt like a stranger in her own body, terrified of what she had become.
In a last-ditch effort to hold on, Y/n had locked herself in her room, trying to distance herself from everyone, but it was too late. The curse Adam had placed on her was consuming her, and the craving for angelic blood had become unbearable. She couldn’t control herself any longer.
