Being tired has become part of my personality (Updated)

For the next two days, I worked from home. I would get up at 5am and do my workout, get ready for the day then wake the boys up and get them ready for day-care. Luna would come and pick them up and drop them off, so I wouldn't need to leave the house.

On Tuesday, I was able to convince Nell from dispatch to come work with me. She would still work with dispatch two days a week, but the rest of the week would be working with me as a Technical Analyst. I'm still looking for someone to work at metro, I don't trust the department with this. Not with everything that happened.

Today is Wednesday which means that Mrs Yong, my governess as a teen and the only mother figure I have had in my life, will be arriving today. I talked to her yesterday and after I told her the parts I was allowed too, she offered to move back in and help look after all of us. I can already hear her in the back of my head, giving me a lecture on the importance of looking after yourself and getting a good night sleep. I heard that lecture nearly every day growing up.

Luna had picked the boys up a couple of hours ago, so I was working in my office, with a coffee cup next to me when I heard the doorbell ring. Please, please let that be my Mary Poppins.

I quickly walk out of my office and to the front door. I opened the door and find not just Mrs Yong but Luna and Athena standing at my door.

Within seconds, I have Mrs Yong in a big bear hug which she returned.

"Where's our hug?" I hear Luna ask.

"It looks like they're about to suffocate each other." I hear Athena say to her.

Ignoring the two women behind us, I let go of Mrs Yong.

"Thank you so much." I tell her.

"I haven't done anything yet." She said while laughing.

"The fact that you're here, I already feel better." I tell her while moving to the side for everyone to come inside.

"Come on let's go inside. Have you been eating enough food, you look like skin and bone. Have you been taking you medication?" Mrs Yong asked me as we all walked inside and I closed the door behind us.

"Yes, and Yes." I tell her as I follow them into the main living area.

"Does anyone want a coffee or tea." Athena asked while we walked into the kitchen.

"You don't need to do that Athena, I can make them, just sit down and relax. Thank you both again for picking Mrs Yong up from the airport." I say while starting to make them all coffees. I already know how everyone likes it.

"It was no problem at all, after Lela gets settled in, we were going to give her a tour of LA and get lunch." Luna said while sitting down next to Athena at the kitchen bench.

"That sounds fun." I say while finishing Mrs Yong's coffee.

"Are you sure you ok sweetheart you look tired." Mrs Yong asked, looking at me concerned after I placed her cup in front of her. The only women who have shown me more motherly love then my own mother, are sitting in front of me. All of them looking worried.

"Being tired has become part of my personality." I say while I start Athena's coffee. I turn to the side to see them all looking at me.

She doesn't look happy with that response. None of them do.

"I'm just a little stressed, that's all." I say, quickly looking back down at the coffee maker and finishing Athena's coffee.

"When are they going to start hiring?" Athena asked taking a sip of her coffee I just gave her.

"That's too much work for one person." Luna added while watching me make her coffee.

"I know, I have Nell from dispatch working with me three days a week now. I'll be going to the station tomorrow to see her, to get her access sorted" I say while finishing Luna's coffee and placing it in front of her.
