Monday morning came all too fast. After my uneventful weekend (which was mostly cuddling with my babies and working when they had naps and after they had gone to bed.), it was back to work.

I was back in my office after my normal Monday meeting with the captain. Making myself a fresh cup of coffee when my computer made a noise. A match for the civilian that ran off with stolen cash during Officer Nolan and Bishops zombie chase yesterday.

Roman Ealy, Age 34, Address 617 South Cleaver Avenue.

Printing out all his relevant information that would help patrol find him. I walk out of my office and locking it behind me. I walk down the hallway towards the stair that led down to the main part of the station and running into Captain Anderson on the way down.

"Captain, I have an ID of our Train thief that sole the stolen money from those zombies." A sentence I never thought I'll say.

"That's great, I'm on my way to morning briefing now if you would like to join me." She said and before I could decline, she had already started walking toward the room. I can see the room full of officers who were ready to start their shift with Sergeant Grey at the front of the room talking.

I didn't have must of a choice here, I still have the file in my hand. Walking into the room behind the captain, I stand close to the door.

"Uh, he plays guitar, if that helps." I hear Officer Nolan say.

"Absolutely, because they always list special talents on your rap sheet." Grey responds to Officer Nolan sarcastically.

I take a quick look around the room and see Tim and Angela giving me a questionable look. All I can do is give them a small smile.

Sergeant Grey turns towards us and moving back so Captain Anderson can talk to the room full of officers.

"First off, I wanted to welcome Tim Bradford back. If you need anything, you let me know." The caption said.

"Yes, ma'am." Tim replied.

"Secondly, we just got some new intel on our zombies. Turns out that they're responsible for a rash of armed robberies in the last six months, always disguised differently." Captain Andersen told the room full of officers.

It wasn't very hard to discover that connection between the robberies, they were always dressed in science fiction costumes and would target similar locations, in terms of demography and accessibility. It took me 5 minutes to find the connection with the others, but I didn't say anything, I just handed Grey the files in my hand with the information.

"Detectives want to get the two in custody to flip on their partners at large, but there is no guarantee, so don't stop hunting. We also have an ID of our Train thief that sole the stolen money from these zombies. Name Roman Ealy, Age 34. A Bolo for his arrest will be sent to your shops by dispatch shortly. Finally, we got a request for a civil standby. Turns out somebody's getting fired from a tech job. Supervisor's worried things may not go right." The captain continued to tell the room.

Do I really need to be here. No. But do I feel like I should stay until Captain dismiss me. Yes

"Babysitting a termination: a patrol officer's favourite assignment. So, who shall I bless with it?" Grey says while looking around the room.

Officer Nolan raises his hand, making everyone look at him.

"Officer Nolan, are you volunteering?" Grey asked him.

"Just embracing the inevitable, sir."

"Smart man. Get the address from Dispatch. That's it." Grey told the officer with a smirk before dismissing the room.
