Chapter 7: Accidents & Approach

       {Time-skip; End of school}
    (Azira's POV)
  Getting done with the boring school day, I sigh as I walk out of the school amidst the other school kids chattering and rushing out of the school. My gaze scans the parking lot casually as I make my way to my car, lost in my thoughts until I hear shouts and the screech of car tires against the icy pavement, turning back quickly I'm met with the sight of a black van swerving in the direction of Bella who's stood at her van, I sigh and move quickly towards her, being careful to keep my speed within the max limit for a normal human by slightly faster, 'Eh, I'll blame it on adrenaline later..'. A few meters before I reach her, the broody vampire guy gets to her with his speed and stops the van with his hand, before she can raise her head to look at who's hand stopped the van, I arrive at her other side and press a pressure point on her neck before anyone can see, rendering her unconscious in an instant as I hold her limp form while spacing out in boredom, faintly hearing the jumbled up apologies and concerns from the guy who was driving the van, 'I think his name is Ty..ler..or whatever..' I think to myself as I look up and lock eyes with the broody vampire whom I almost forgot was still here.

    (Edward's POV)
  My body moved before I could think as I saw Tyler lose control of his van and swerve right into the direction of Bella, instinct pushing me to act as I sped across the parking lot and got to her just in time as the van almost squashed her, stopping it with my hand as we collided and fell down to the ground. My senses returning to me at the rapid sound of her beating heart and I watched almost in slow motion as she followed my hand that was still touching the van to see who stopped it, my throat dried within this few seconds as I smelt her blood from what I can only guess a scrape she received  from the collision to the ground, but like a miracle that familiar calming scent got right next to me drowning out the scent of Bella's blood and eliminating my thirst completely, my eyes snapped up to the grey-eyed girl who'd arrived at some point and knocked Bella out in a blink of an eye. 'How did she-? When did she-? Why did- What!??..' my thoughts were a mess as I tried to process how she got here, swearing to myself i saw her almost as far a distance as I was from Bella yet.. 'She got here so quickly but i didn't feel her presence as it moved.. and it's no help I can't read her mind..' a non-existent breath catches in my throat as she raises her head and locks eyes with me, her expression neutral, almost 'Bored.. you'd think she'd be even a bit startled by the whole scenario that just played out.. what type of person are you, Azira..?' various questions run through my head for what feels like hours in a matter of seconds as I stare back into her eyes, 'Those captivating... mysterious grey eyes.. I almost can't tell if they're cold or not..is it even humanly possible to have eyes that shade of grey?'...

   (Azira's POV)
'What's with that expression? Is he shocked or having a seizure? Do vampires even get seizures? Eh, forget it.' my thoughts wander as I keep eye contact with him, 'You want to stare? I can stare too, I'm petty like that..' the moment broken as he recollects himself and leaves the scene, more students in the parking lot coming over to check on what's happened and I see someone call the ambulance, I just stay holding the unconscious Bella as we wait for the ambulance. A few minutes later, 'Guess this way of getting to the hospital also works..' i think to myself as I enter my car and drive, following the ambulance after Bella, who's still unconscious, is loaded in on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.
