{Time-skip; Three days later}
      (Azira's POV)
   "Damn this guy is difficult." I grumbled to myself as I watched the graying haired, 5'9ft tall, middle-aged Caucasian man from the dark roof of a random building as he walks out of a post office. David Smith, for the past three days I've been following and observing him after getting the info I needed on him from the hospital, having found out he's been going under the alias, Leslie Clark, a general doctor who was transferred here to Forks hospital five years ago, I must admit, he's been quite stealthy in his stay here in Forks, not easy for a complete stranger to blend into a town where everyone knows everyone without rousing the curiosity of anyone and to manage this for five years too is impressive to a degree.

   'At a glance, no one would guess you were a chemicals distributor and go to supplier for the underground black market trade. Got skills, i must admit, had a good run.. the thing that'll fuck you up now is 'cause they sent me after you.', I thought to myself as I watched him get in his car and drive away, looking down at the screen of my phone to see the red dot making its way along the road maps, smirking to myself as I stealthily got down from the roof and in an alley, after confirming the dot stopped at a place I'm convinced is his home, I call it an early night and walk into the still open bookstore and buy a random cookbook before heading out. Walking down the walkways and alleys, I hear a noise, almost like a struggle and a very familiar voice, 'Guess my night won't be as smooth as I thought..', I think to myself as I sigh and jog down to that direction, 'It's the direction I'm taking anyway, no harm looking..' as I get there, I see three or four guys crowding around and harassing a girl i soon recognize is Bella, 'Damn, this girl got a danger fetish or something?..' I deadpan at the scene, reaching them and directly pulling the first guy in my reach out of the way, his drunk state and my slight overuse of strength sends him to the ground a bit harsher than intended but I honestly don't care, going to stand next to Bella, I kick one guy in the balls and sock the other guy square in the face before grabbing Bella's arm and pulling her with me to create some distance between the guys and us, "Drunk jerks, when a lady says no, she means it. Remember that or I'll make sure you remember it for the rest of your life..", I say to them expressionlessly, my low tone carrying a hint of threat as I glance at them over my shoulder, "Aw, c'mon sweetie, we were just playing, can't you lighten up? It's just a little fun.." the only one that I didn't hit says as he staggers slightly in his pursuit towards us, the other guys getting themselves together and advancing towards us as well. Now in a bad mood, I mentally prepare to knock the sense into these guys as I say to Bella, "Whatever you do, don't panic. Listen to me carefully, when I give you the word, you run out of here as fast as you can and don't look back, don't worry about me, I have a plan. Alright?", "But isn't that dangerous? I-i could call my dad, he's the Chief of police or- or i can help you-" she tried to compromise but I cut her off bluntly, "Girl, you ain't fighting nobody with those lanky arms and that level of indecisiveness. Save yourself the trouble and just take the plan as it is.." I expect her to argue more but just as she's about to, a silver Volvo speeds down the opposite direction of the road, I blink at what I'm seeing for a few seconds and groan faintly in frustration as I relax my posture as Edward hurries out the car, coming towards us and telling us to get in the car. Without a word, I just pull Bella along and let her have the front passenger seat while I get into the back, watching Edward stare down the guys, making them back off and coming back into the car of which he speeds out of the area.

    (Narrator's POV)
  The drive was silent and tense, Bella shooting glances at Edward with her confused and questioning emotions written all over her face, all while Azira relaxed in the back with a neutral expression. The tension broke as Edward grumbled with simmering anger beneath his breath "I should go back there and rip those guys' heads off..", Bella responds "I don't think that's necessary-", "You don't know what vile and repulsive things they were thinking.", "And you do?" a brief silence falls at that question and Edward scoffs, "It's not hard to guess... look, just.. distract me so I don't turn back.", "um.. well, you should put your seat belt on." Bella suggests awkwardly, an awkward chuckle coming from Edward as he responds, "You should put yours on." a silence falls for a brief moment before a low comment resounds from the back as Azira cringes, "You two should take some serious social classes, it's like I'm looking at two people trying to stop a seizure from public speaking." Bella glances back at Azira with an incredulous look as Edward glances up at the rear view mirror, Azira just shrugs and turns her gaze out the window, after a brief silence, Bella questions Edward suddenly, "Hey, how did you know I was there? Where you following me?", "What? No, I just.. uh.. happened to be in the area.." Edward replies a bit strained, at this moment Azira says before Bella can question further..

       (Azira's POV)
   'I can't watch this anymore.', "He was in the area cause of me. He texted me earlier about some casual stuff and I told him I was in that area to visit the bookstore, needed a new cookbook. He said it's late and that he'll come pick me up so I shared my location." I explained casually, gazing out the window boredly as the drive continues, but in my mind I'm complaining, 'How you a stalker but have no alibi? Stalker with no skill, Creepy ass vampire. I would've thought all those years alive would be taught you many experiences.. I stand corrected, you're brain might have stagnated the same way your body did, underdeveloped.', shooting an unimpressed glance at Edward before I say, "I'm dropping off right here, my house isn't too far of a walk.", 'Sooner I get out of this train wreck of a conversation, the better. This boy acting like he don't wanna keep his secret as a vampire,'. Getting out the car, I wish them goodnight and head on my way, not missing the lingering gaze Edward gives me before he drives away, I can't help but think with a grimace as I reach my front door after a ten minute walk, 'Cliché old timer.'.
