Jhaysen

Emily was a little out of wack. Everytime we were near each other she would flirt way more than usual and she stiffened up when homecoming was mentioned.

Is this about me not asking her to homecoming?

Do girls make big fusses about this stuff?

Whatever, I'll get the guys to help me with this, that worked with that one poem. What am I thinking, that poem was utter shit. In case you are wondering it sounded like:

"Your eyes a shimmering blue
And the way you say I love you
Your lips so sweet and frail
And your skin so soft and pale."

Her eyes are green. She never said I love you. And really, I have no explanation for that last part, other than I suspect Edward Cullen took over for a second there.

Don't worry, I payed for that poem. Upon receiving it, she laughed and told me, "You're so dumb oh my god." She then gave me shit about it for a year.

That's the thought process of 6th grade Jhaysen, but what am I, new and improved sophmore Jhaysen, gonna do to ask her? A poster, an extravagant scene, a text? WHY CAN'T THE GIRLS JUST ASK US? I get that girls have it rough with periods and such but guys are expected to ask girls out and it's hard.

I think I should talk to the guys about it. They'll know what to do!

Trevor

When I first saw Julia, I thought "Wow, she's really hot." When I first talked to Julia, I thought, "Wow, does she really have all these rare Pokémon? And she's really hot!" When I first learned Julia went to my school, I thought, "Wow, could I take her to homecoming?"

By the way, Julia is that girl who ended up in my bed one faithful night. Her name is Julia, she's got blonde hair and well... she's hot and she's good in bed and wow. She's very... wow. Unfortunately, I'm the guy that gives no shits; I can't ask her out, it will ruin my image.

Maybe I should ask her to homecoming. Technically that's not a real date, right?

Screw this, I'm asking her out.

.........................

Garrick

Me and Rashel. Rashel and I. That's a part of my drama recently; why, you ask? I'm currently struggling to ask her out, that's why.

Yes, I like Rashel; yes, I want to ask her to homecoming; yes, I have no clue what to do.

I bet the other guys aren't struggling.

Actually, I take that back. They probably have no clue who they are gunna ask. I'll go talk to them about it, that might work.

Who am I kidding, they don't know anything about girls. I'm hopeless.

............................

Carlos

You won't believe this! Sam can't make it to homecoming :( so now I have to go :(( ALONE! :(((

Outrageous, am I right?

I guess I'll have to settle for helping the other guys out with their dates.

"Hey man, what do you want to do for the dance?" I ask Arash.

"There's a dance?"

"Um yes, it's homecoming. Aren't you taking someone or something?"

"Sure, I'll take something, my video game console. I should probably go ask it what color it's dress is so we can match! I'm not going. Dances are lame and no one at this school is hot."

"I object!" Garrick says, walking into the boys living area.

"Oh and who is hot then?" I look at Garrick ready to embarrass him.

"As much of a bitch Britney is, she's kinda hot. Also, that girl that ended up with Trevor is-"

"DONT SAY JULIA IS HOT!" Trevor bursts into the room.

"And now I know you are asking to homecoming." Arash laughs at my sentence; yes, I know I'm funny. No flash photography, please!

"Yeah, but how should I ask her?" Trevor says, blushing. Woah, blushing. This is the real stuff.

"Let's do something as a group!" Jhaysen says, plopping on the couch next to me.

"What about Denny?" Trevor asks.

"He's already got a date, some dumb cheerleader who doesn't know he's a nerd yet." Arash speaks up.

"Yeah but he's a nerd on the football team." I argued.

"Touché."

"What do we do? If I don't ask Emily out before the game, she will murder me!" Jhaysen says, his face resembling a scared puppy right now.

"Wait, if we do an extravagant scene, they will have to say yes!" Garrick points out.

"That's peer pressure." I reply.

"Let's do something big anyway." Jhaysen says. He's just too chicken to ask Emily out on his own.

"Always the romantic, Jhaysen. Okay, what's the plan?" Trevor questions, leaning in as if this were crazy secretive.

"I've got an idea...."

Narrator

The boys made their plan and decided to execute it the next day. The next morning, most of the boys were extremely nervous. Their plan would be put into action after 2nd period, and the classes went by a little too fast.

As soon as the boys could say "homecoming," they were standing outside of their 3rd period with posters in hand. They stood in line, the posters accompanied by tightly clutched flowers.

Trevor was on the far right. His hot pink poster read, "Julia, I saved my masterball for your heart. Homecoming? Don't embarrass me any further, please."

Next to Trevor was Arash whose sign said, "I'm here for moral support, but I also am single, so chicks, hit me up!"

Beside him was Garrick who had a sign with the words, "Rashel, I like you, you like me. Homecoming?"

Carlos held up a tye-dye sign that read, "I'm taken, I just want to say that I am to be credited with the creation of the majority of these posters."

Lastly there was Jhaysen who had a sign reading, "Screw Britney! I'm just saying, it would be really cool if you would give me the greenlight for homecoming, because I just want to be beside you! Emily that is."

To say that the girls were shocked when they saw the signs would be an understatement. Emily was attached to Jhaysen before anyone else realized what was going on. Rashel was, well, shocked. She never thought the person she liked would ever like her back. Julia was even more shocked. She had thought Trevor only thought of her as an emotionless hook up, but she was pleasantly surprised.

The other girls stood off to the side, looking proud and snapping pictures. No doubt they had had something to do with this. You didn't think Carlos's creavity extended to 5 Seconds of Summer references, did you?

A/N: don't stop the 5SOS reference? ;)))) -e and k
