•Chapter II:Crowns and real royalties•

The cold morning wind caressed Beomgyu's cheek,ruffling his dark, long hair.Beomgyu was staying at the window with his head resting at the edge of it.In this morning,Beomgyu shouted at his family,and even shutting the door in front of them.He didn't blamed them,but himself.,and his parents words kept replaying inside his head.He shook his head to banish those thoughts,trying to give himself a peace vibe.After all,he needed to get ready,because the Kangs are going to appear soon.He straightened his position,then closing the windows with one hand,and then,dragging the curtains.He headed to the desk where he usually brush his hair,applicate makeup,something like these.But he only took a peek in the mirror.Suddendtly,a knock out of the door made him stop from what he was doing.

"Who is it?..."

"U-umm...Soobin,your majesty."A voice spoke behind the door.

"Get in."

The door opened, revealing a tall male with some black majestic clothes and a pair of elegant boots.Soobin didn't move but speak,glaring at Beomgyu.Beomgyu walked a little closer,now being one in front of the other.

"Soobin,how many times does I need to tell you that you don't need to call me 'your majesty'.We're friends,don't you remember?"

Soobin flinched without ripping the gaze from the royal.

"I know,Beomgyu,but you are royal,and I need to show respect."

Beomgyu chuckled,putting his hand on Soobin's shoulder.

"You can show respect to the rest,but when are you talking to me, please use 'Beomgyu' or any other name,but no royalty.I feel bad when you are addressing me like that..."

Soobin just nodded,giving the prince a warm smile.

"So,what are you doing here?"Beomgyu asked.

"I wanted to inform you that you need to be out in 5 minutes.The Kang Family will arrive soon."

"Good,then.I will be there."

Soobin headed to the outside door and exited the room with quiet steps.Beomgyu's smile dropped constantly.Shit.The family from the Earth Kingdom will arrive soon and Beomgyu wanted to spent more time alone,before their arriving.But now,he needed to get ready for the next terrible month that will come.His 20th anniversary will come soon too,and Beomgyu couldn't celebrate it because of their parent's plans.

After some minutes later,Beomgyu rushed again on the halls in the palace,quickly arriving next to their parents,ready to meet the guests.The queen forced herself to smile at the evening and Beomgyu knowed that she wasn't happy either.The Earth Kingdom was knowed for having the most resources unlike the other kingdoms.The majority of people said that The Earth Kingdom has the most beautiful gardens in the world,and the weather there was very welcoming,unlike the Ice Kingdom.In Beomgyu's Kingdom,the weather was every time cold,even in summer,so the prince never experienced the warm of the bright sun.

After some minutes of waiting,a carriage arrived.Beomgyu scrunched his nose at seeing the green-like leaves that the carriage was decorated.Green?This is the color that you will never see in the Ice Kingdom.Only white,a lot of shades of blue,and gray.Only in the palace could be spotted some colors,like red,dark blue,and purple.Beomgyu knowed that the majority of these were cold colors,and in the Earth Kingdom was extremely opposite.Tones of warm colors could be spotted there.Anyway,the carriage stop,and a man got up from his seat,opening the doors for the royals.Beomgyu's eyes widened after seeing the majestic royals.But his father words ripped him from his trance,making him blink,losing his balance.Soobin observed and clunched Beomgyu's cloths,making him stop from falling.

"Are you alright?"

"Yes,thank you..."

The family from the Earth Kingdom we're extremely kind-hearted,unlike the Ice Kingdom,who were cold and mysterious.With a smile on the queen's face,she started to speak,bending her head down to represent respect,and the king shook his hand with the other.

"King and Queen Choi,it's a pleasure to see you again."The king of the Earth Kingdom said,smiling at the two.

"The pleasure is mine,King Seungsik."King Choi addressed politely to the other King.

The king flutured his hand in a signal to make Yeonjun and Beomgyu come over.

"Those are my sons.The older is Choi Yeonjun and the younger is Choi Beomgyu."

"Nice to meet you!"The queen Kang said bending her head down once again."This is my son,Kang Taehyun."

Taehyun?What a preety name.Beomgyu thought for a moment.The Earth prince looked at Beomgyu,and he just bent his head down,getting rid of the eye contact.Usually,Beomgyu doesn't like eye contacts.Is making him uncomfortable sometimes.But Taehyun was lookin so good in his gold-like suit,and with his grey-like hair,ruffled by the cold wind.Absolutely,Beomgyu noticed the white mascara,applicate on him.All of those things maked him to flinch for a moment,but he tried his best to not to lose his balance once again.When the royals entered,Beomgyu was walking next to Taehyun.His heart started to shake for no reason and all his body was trembling.Beomgyu didn't knowed that a mix of emotions hit him like a droid.

The royals entered an room and the prince's were left alone,with Soobin and a mysterious little boy,who decided to stay behind Taehyun.Yeonjun broked the silence by starting speaking.

"So,you are supposed to be Taehyun,and the other boy behind you?..."

"His name is Huening Kai,my assistant."Taehyun spoke for the first time.

"Nice to meet you!"Kai bent his body.

"What if we will escort you to your new dorms,hm?"Beomgyu said,glaring at the two with a warm smile.

In the halls,on the way to the dorms,Taehyun noticed the coat on the Ice Kingdom price's,and a cold wind hit his entire body,making him tremble.Beomgyu just looked back,noticing that the guests were cold.

"Are you cold?This is will be the weather for a month,while you will stay here."

"W-why is it s-so c-cold here?..."Taehyun's teeth were flinching and Yeonjun just giggled,amused by the question.

"Just think.After all,you are in the Ice Kingdom,what do you expect?"

"I don't know,you don't have fireplaces?..."

"We have,but outside is too cold,so the palace will never warm up.You need to get used to it,and try to dress with some...winter clothes."Beomgyu turned his glare at the thin suit that covered Taehyun's body.

"We're here..."Yeonjun opened the door,revealing a dark look-a-like room with the traditional red curtains,decorated with a large bed,a fireplace and a table with some chairs.

"This is our room?"Taehyun widened his eyes,not believing what it was in front of him.The room didn't looked like his room,but the important point is to be comfortable.

"Your room."Beomgyu corrected Taehyun's words."Kai is going to settle with Soobin."

"Oh..."

"Don't worry Taehyun,I will be fine,plus,I always dreamed to have a roommate!"Kai cheered Taehyun up after seeing his sad expression,jumping enthusiasm all around.

All of them laughed,happily.

"Okay,we will go show where will Kai stay,you can stay and explore your room,if you want..."Beomgyu suggested.

Taehyun didn't said anything,leaving the rest going away.He closed the door,signing flustered.Taehyun sat on the floor,covering himself with his hands.He thought about the month he is going to spent it here,in cold,snow,and strong wind.Taehyun noticed that the windows were fogged up giving him a blurry vision.He stood up,still trembling.He took a look out of the window,opening it and a hard,cold wind ruffled his hair,making him choke for a second after gasping for air.The vision outside was pretty blurry and Taehyun's eyes narrowed trying to make his vision clear.A valley full of snow stretches in front of him.Suddently,wind blowed exactly in his face,sprinkling it with little snowflakes.He got inside of the room,closing the window.This was the first day in the Ice Kingdom and he already hated it.
