•Chapter XV:End of the path•

"Let me see if I get it."Yuqi said."The Ice Prince was cursed to sleep until death.You kissed him,and now the cursed fulfilled,and now you are trying to find a rose that could heal him?"

Soobin and Taehyun nodded.The girl couldn't hold her laugh.

"I want to see you trying.Keep looking,you will never find it.That rose doesn't exist."

Yuqi started to laugh, but the boys remained serious,glaring at her with no expressions.When the girl saw their reaction,she got serious.

"Don't tell me is true."

"It is as true as can be."Soobin glared at her,answering."If we don't hurry,all the Kingdom will be gone,and all the people will die."

Yuqi didn't say anything,instead,she still glared at the Soobin then at Taehyun.

"Well,you can't leave now."The girl finally spoke."Have you seen yourselves?You need rest."

"We will leave soon.We don't have much time left."Taehyun said under his breath.

Soobin got up and headed to the exit door of the room.Yuqi got up too from her chair and left too.And now,Taehyun was left alone in the room.He signed heavily.What if Yuqi is right?What if the rose really doesn't exist?What if our sacrifice is nothing?

Taehyun shook his head to get rid of all of those bad thoughts.But somehow,something was telling him that the girl knowed something about it.Maybe she is going to tell the boys about the palace and the rose.

He knowed that they couldn't stay anymore here.But with Kai's injury,the time would get longer.He hoped that Beomgyu was a little better,but deep in his heart,the prince knowed that he will die soon if they doesn't hurry.

Yeonjun didn't leave Beomgyu's room after the boys' disparition.His parents started to discover about it.They noticed that the servants and the Earth Kingdom Prince were nowhere to be seen.

Nervous thoughts were on his spine, and that made the king flinch a bit.Something could be heard behind the door.Voices.Yeonjun got up as he approached the door,trying to hear what was happening.

"... we've searched everywhere, but the prince couldn't be found,your majesty."A voice apologized.

"Oh, where he could be?Is not in his nature to go somewhere,not telling anyone."

Yeonjun realised that the second voice was the queen of the Earth Kingdom.

"Don't worry,your majesty,he needs to be somewhere.We will find him soon."

"I hope you are right..."

Yeonjun moved away from the door.Oh no.They noticed!Yeonjun walked around the room,not knowing what to do.He knowed that he couldn't tell them the truth.He is going to have problems.

But what can he do?A lot of suggestions appeared in the King's head,but not one suits the problem that he was confronting now.

Signing,he got closer to the window and rubbed it,trying to see what it was outside.It was snowing again.The weather was going even worse.Younjun started to think about his friends.

The next morning,Taehyun was feeling tired.His leg was getting healed,and his friends were the same.The prince decided that it was a good day to start moving.

When he got up,slowly from the bed,he headed to the exit door.Kai was sitting on the couch next to Soobin.Yuqi,the archer girl who saved the boys life's,was talking with the two.

Soobin heard the prince's footsteps look up to face him.Kai did the same and smiled,but Yuqi was glaring at him seriously.

"You are awake!"Kai was very happy to see his friend healty again,seeing that the prince can walk.

"Are you okay now?"Taehyun questioned Kai.

The servant nodded.

"Don't worry,I am fine,thanks to Yuqi.She knows exactly how to treat us!"Kai smiled towards the girl.

Yuqi just smiled back,embarrassed.

"I am glad that I could help you."

"Then we should get moving."Soobin got up and got his bag.

Taehyun and Kai did the same and headed to the exit door.Kai bowed in front of Yuqi and thank her for everything.The girl smiled, watching the boys going outside in the cold.

"Are you really believing that the rose exists?"The girl suddenly spoke at the final moment.

The boy's turned their gaze towards her.They were confused,but Soobin nodded.

"Then let me go with you!"

All of them froze after hearing Yuqi's words.

"Who was that one person who said a million times that the rose doesn't exist?"Taehyun raised a brow.

"Well,I know exactly where the witch palace is.Plus,with that injuries,I am not going to let all of you alone.That place is really dangerous."

The boys smirked at the girl,who was trying to convince them.Taehyun finally nodded,smiling.

"Okay then,you can come with us."

Yuqi smiled.

"I will be right back..."She said as she was going inside her house to pack things.

Now they were again on the path.But now,they we're four.The snow crunched under their shoes, and the wind blowed exactly in their faces.

Indeed,the path was pretty long,and of course, they would meet again with terrible creatures,but together,everything was going to be fine.

From time in time,Taehyun stopped to see if their friends were there or to spot a danger.He remembered what Yuqi said to him.

'Be careful with your leg,it is not fully recovered.'

Taehyun needed to be precaut about this.A single wrong move could mutilate his ankle,and he can remain without his leg.Kai's torso wasn't fully recovered too.If he make too much effort,the wound is going to open again.

Taehyun didn't want to see his friends in their blood ever again.That scene kept replaying in his mind.No,that was an accident.It will never happen again.
Now,they have Yuqi,and she knows how to fight.

He felt happy when he heard the voices of his friends,talking nonstop.Slowly,he turned to face them.The conversation felt like a important one.

"So,the rose is hidden in the witch palace.We need a strategy to get inside when we reach there."Yuqi was talking with Soobin.

Taehyun noticed that the two we're getting closer to each other.He secretally smirked at the two's interaction.

"We will think about something."Soobin answered.

Kai's voice made him flinch for a moment.The boy was at the top of the hill,looking at something.Kai turned back and shouted.

"Hey!I think I saw something!Come up, hurry!"

When they heard,the rest of the group started to walk a little faster.Taehyun almost felt because of the deep snow,who was dragging him back.

Finally, they reached the top.Kai straightened his hand,pointing at something.The group looked after.Something could be seen in front of them.

An iced palace,covered in snow.It was looking like it was made of crystals.Taehyun couldn't believe his eyes.His jaw dropped around the palace, and a frozen lake could be spot,surrounding him all around.Soobin almost feel because of the wind,who pushed his back,but Yuqi catched him.Kai was smiling lightly as looking at the palace in front of him.Taehyun felt that too.Pride.

We're finally here...
