•Chapter XIII:Into the secret forest•

A fog stretched between the trees.It was dark and mysterious.The trees froze because of the cold weather,making them just a few dry branches.None creatures could be spot,only the cold wind,who ruffled agresive the snow from the trees,making it falling down.

The sun was very hard to spot rising because the dark clouds already covered the entire sky,making all the atmosphere look like in a big,infinite sphere.Three people could be spot in the background struggling to walk on the white,sparkling carpet.

The snow crunched under Taehyun's foots.His cheeks were a light shade of pink,and his silver-gray hair was sprinkled with little snowflakes.He felt the cold entering his entire body,even in his clothes.

The prince took a peek behind him.Soobin was struggling to walk and looking at his steps carefully,not to fall.Meanwhile,Kai,who his body froze completely,was not able anymore to walk.He felt like ice was stuck in his veins,freezing the blood.

Taehyun didn't realise how hard it was this mission.The prince didn't know,asking himself in mind if they were going to survive.A little shadow of fear was flooding inside him.

He started to think again at Beomgyu,the prince that he felt in love.Again,his pretty eyes,lips,beautiful long black hair, and his always pink lips made him lose his strength.The ice prince was like a drug to Taehyun,making him going crazy every time he make contact with the prince.

But now,Taehyun will dream about him forever if they don't find the 'Ice Rose',the solution to wake Beomgyu up.For a moment,he thought about that this was a bad idea.I mean,going in a mysterious,cold forest,with a lot of dangers that were surrounding everywhere,at every time,and with fear that was pumping hard inside the people's hearts,terrified because of the fact that they will never get back,just to find a like-existing rose.

Of course,it wasn't a waste of time.They wanted to save the prince wo was cursed to sleep to death.Originally,Taehyun doesn't like to see people suffering,especially the people he deeply care about.

The three of them walked kilometres  far away from the palace,deeping into the forest.He decided to unfold the map,who was a little iced in his hands.Carefully not to break it,he opened it,revealing the interesctated locations and paths.

He stopped at the spot,breathing heavily because of the effort.A few seconds later,Soobin and Kai were approaching him,looking at the map too,trying to descifrate where exactly they were.Soobin furrowed his browns,confused.Kai was trembling next to him,and his teeth were flinching.

"What h-happened?A-are we lost?"He asked.

Taehyun just looked even confused at the map in his hands.

"I don't know.I think we are here..."He answered, pointing at a place on the paper.

"We need to find resources too.Ours are almost finished."Soobin said under his breath.

"And a place where we can sleep."Kai added.

"For resources,we will try to find a town or something.And for a place,we will find on our path,I think."Taehyun clarified,and the two nodded.

"And now?"Kai glared around,a little terrified.

"We will continue to walk until we find something where we can stop at."

Kai signed,tiredly,after hearing Taehyun's words.After a little pause for a moment,they continued their journey.Soobin felt like something was wrong.If they were in the forest,doesn't that mean they will get spotted by wild animals?

He shook his head to get rid of the thoughts and started to focus on his footsteps.They walked and walked,but only infinite snow was stretching in front of them,like never ending.

Everything seemed to be fine.Dangers weren't surrounding them,so that meant that everything was fine at that moment.

Suddenly,something more like a howl could be heard,fading in the background.All of them heard it,and froze at that moment.Something were chasing them.There's seemed to be big animals.Soobin imediatly recognized the creatures who gave them a whirl.

Wolfs.

Yeonjun was standing in front of Beomgyu,glaring at him without expressions on his face.The room was pretty silent,only the breathing of Beomgyu's covered a few of the atmosphere.The king felt a little better after noticing that his brother was still breathing.

The king signed heavily.He started to think about what his friends were doing at that moment.I hope they are right...If they are not going to get back at the palace,all the hope will be gone.Forever.

He stayed there,in peacefully silent,not daring to move at all.After the boys were gone,he promised to take deeply care about his brother.He again thought about the boys,who were gone,in a chance of finding a rare winter flower,called 'The Ice Rose'.

I hope they will find it...

Some time passed,and in the room was silent.But suddenly,someone was knocking out of the door.He rolled his eyes,knowing that it was a high chance to be his parents.Yeonjun simply answered with 'come in',and a figure walked in the room.

The queen,Yeonjun's mother,was walking towards him,but Yeonjun raised a hand,not letting his mother get closer.And with a death glare,he asked in a cold tone.

"What do you want?..."

The queen stared at him a little,then glared at her other son,Beomgyu, before answering the question.

"Yeonjun..."her voice was calm enough to make Yeonjun listen."I just came here to apologize.I know you are flustered about Beomgyu's condition,but there's no antidote for him.You need to understand."

Yeonjun body was aching after hearing the words,but he didn't dare to say something.He let his mother continue.

"We loved you and your brother with all of our hearts,and we always tried desperately to protect you from the bad.Don't think to blame Taehyun.It wasn't his fault,he didn't know it."

Yeonjun decided to glare at his mother.He already knew all of that stuff,but he couldn't tell her.Also,he needed to get prepared.Their parents were going to realize soon about Taehyun,Soobin and Kai's disappearance.

"Please think about what I've told you."The queen said before heading to the door.

She stepped outside,closing the door behind her.Yeonjun groaned again, stressed.Feeling a bit insecure about Beomgyu's body temperature,he put another blanket on him.Yeonjun knowed that to slow down the Ice process that can froze the entire kingdom,he needed to warm up the cursed victim.The colder the victim is,the faster the atmosphere will freeze.

Plus,he needed to take time for the three.In such terrible weather,he needed to give his everything.He glared again at Beomgyu,with a sad expression that could be seen clearly on his face.He needed to hope for the best.

Don't worry,Beomgyu.Help is on the way...
