How Can You Be So Sure?

Kylie's pov:

As we're on the second episode of Baby-sitter's club, Claudia and the phantom phone callsI watch as Morgan slowly falls asleep in Ruby's arms, and it's adorable.

"Hey can you pass me that?" She gestures over to a blanket.

Malia passes it to her, and looks at me.
God the way she looks at me. I see that Ruby uses that blanket to cover her and Morgan, who was still fast asleep, as Ruby rubbed her back, and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Third person pov:

They all heard a knock at the door. Ruby was alarmed because, it could be Morgan's parents. Josh stands up and looked out a window. It was the pizza delivery guy.

"You ordered pizza?" Josh asked.

"Well I think Morgan did before she fell asleep" Ruby answered.

"Oh so it's for us." Peder chimed in.

"Most likely" Ruby responded playing with on of Morgan's pigtails.

"Just go get ittt" Morgan whined.

"Oh so you're awak-" Malia was soon cut off by Morgan.

"Just get the damn food."

Josh goes and opens the door and takes the food inside.

"Love would you want me to get you something?" Ruby says to Morgan softly, as they're still on the couch.

"Please?" Morgan looked up at Ruby with puppy eyes, as Ruby gently put her down.

As she was walking over to the kitchen table, where Josh put the pizza, I soon spoke up.

"Is Morgan sick?"

Silence.

"Ruby?"

"Yea?"

"Is Morgan doing ok?"

Malia pov:

Morgan is not ok. She just had a nightmare and I know she did.

Ruby didn't reply, instead walked back over to Morgan and gave her her pizza.

"Guys Morgan had a nightmare" I whispered Kylie and the boys.

"How can you be so sure?" Josh asked me.

"Cuz I know her better than anyone."

We end the conversation there, as we all get our pizza and go sit back down on the couch.

After we all leave, I see my parents stomping over to me. Shit I forgot to tell them where I was.

"MALIA BAKER." I hear my mom call out.

"Ugh not this again" I mumble under my breath.

"Where on planet earth were you?" My dad says in his deep annoying voice.

"Just at a friends."

"Well ima need to speak to their parents." My mom replies very quickly.

"She doesn't live with her parents."

"Oh so ima have to speak with her."

"She's not in the best condition right now, she doesn't feel well."

"So why go to her house in the first place?"

See now I'm really getting aggravated, like can they let me live for once?

"Answer me Malia." My mom's tone is getting louder.

"You think I knew she wasn't feeling well?!?"

"Don't use that tone with me young lady"

"Ugh-"

"Just get in the damn car. You're grounded."

"So I get grounded first trying to help a friend? You're unbelievable you know that?"

I just walk off to Kylie's car and get in the passenger seat.

Ruby's pov:

I take Morgan to her room when everyone left, well went outside. It seems like Malias parents found her. *sighs* At least they don't try to kill her.

3rd person pov:

Kylie walks over to the car. While the boys get in the back.

P(Peder): Well that was something.

J(Joshua): it sure was.

K: hey Malia are you ok?

MB(Malia): Yea, it's just a lot for a first day back.

K: if you want you can crash at my place.

MB: Yea. I'd really like that.

Malia was blushing her life away. And while they left, two people were about to break in.

Ik this story seems focused around Morgan and Ruby. But I just need to build things around Malia and Kylie, so you won't be confused.

Anyway what yall think for the first five chapters?
