"This is what Ray wanted Ana trust him.." Max said.

What was your work ? why did you hide it from me?

Present:

I glared at Max and Leo, my eyes blazing with anger and hurt, as the dim lighting in the room seemed to intensify my emotions. The soft hum of the air conditioner and the creaking of the old wooden floorboards under their feet only added to my frustration.

"This is what Ray wanted, Ana, trust him," Max said, his voice soft and calming, but it only fueled my anger.

"I trust my brother, but... Max, Leo, answer my one question," I said, my voice shaking, as I fidgeted with the hem of my jeans.

"What question, Ana?" Max asked, confusion etched on his face.

"Go ahead," Leo encouraged, his eyes locked on mine.

"How would you have felt when you find out the only person in your life who you loves with everything, hides something very important from you and then suddenly dies, leaving you with strangers, leaving you in this evil world.. tell me, how would you have felt ?" I asked, my eyes stinging as a lone tear rolled down my cheek.

"Ana, we understand, but-" Max started.

"No, you don't understand," I cut him off, my voice rising as I slammed my fist on the dinner table, making the vase on it wobble.

"You have not lost someone very important in your life. You guys are not going to become a burden on someone. You don't know how it feels." Tears streamed down my face, and my chest tightened.

"Ana, listen... okay, we can't understand how you're feeling, but we're here for you. And you're not a burden on anyone, especially not us," Leo said calmly, his voice a gentle breeze on a summer day.

"Ana, you're our sister now, and we-" Max began.

"No! I'm not your sister, and you're not my brothers-not now, not ever, so don't even try to become one because you can't..," I shouted, my voice cracking as I stood up, my chair scraping against the floor.

I turned and ran to my room, slamming the door shut, the sound echoing through the hallway.

"Ana, wait, stop..." I heard Leo's desperate call, muffled by the door.

I locked the door, desperate for solitude, and leaned against it, my heart racing. No one could replace Ray. My mind raced with memories, and anguish overwhelmed me.

The faint scent of Ray's cologne on my clothes brought back memories of our last conversation.

"Ray, you promised me you'd return. How could you break your promise? You always said it's not good to break promises, and yet you did. You promised me you'd be here for me every day, every time I needed you, but today you're not. I need you, Ray. Please come back, hug me. After Mom and Dad left, you were my family, and now you're gone too. How will I live without you, Ray? Tell me how. Who will help me now when I get panic attacks? You said you couldn't see tears in my eyes. See, Ray, I'm crying. I'm crying, Ray; please come back. I can't live without you. You left me with these strangers... I don't know them, Ray. I'm sorry, Ray, but I can't go with them. They're trying to take your place in my life, but I won't give your place to anyone, even if you asked me to." I cried, hugging mine and Ray's picture.. it was taken when we both went to amusement park..we enjoyed a lot.

As I sobbed, I heard muffled voices outside my door.

"Ana, please open the door. Please, we can talk, okay? We can discuss everything, we can solve this, I promise. Ana, please open the door," Leo pleaded.

"No! You guys are trying to take Ray's place. I won't let you," I shouted, or at least I thought I did. My voice was barely above a whisper.

Suddenly, I felt a surge of desperation. Panic attacks had become familiar, but Ray was always there to calm me. Now, I was alone and I don't know how to cope with them, how to handle them..

The silence in my room was deafening, and the shadows on the wall seemed to be closing in on me.

"I can't live without Ray... First, Mom and Dad, and now Ray, too, left me. No, nobody wants me. Everyone leaves me. They promise to always be there with me, but then they leave. I can't handle it; I don't know how to cope with these feelings. What should I do, Ray? Come back to your baby sis. This world is so evil, and I can't face them without you. Ray, come back, come back, Ray. Your baby sis needs you."

I can't take it more.. everything seems to take everything from me.. first, my parents then Ray and now they want me to leave this house also.. I can't live like this..it's better I should leave and go to my Ray..

In a haze, I searched for a razor, my heart heavy with despair.

Just as I found it in my bathroom, I heard pounding on my door.

"Ana, stop! What the hell are you doing?!" Leo exclaimed. Oh, so they broke the door. Nice, very nice. No, I can't even die peacefully onote the sarcasm:) ]

"Ana, stop, please don't do this," Max begged, his face ashen.

"No! I won't-not today. I'm going..

"No, Ana, please don't do this. we can talk ok we can solve this.. just drop this.. please.."Leo begged.

Ana, you read the letter Ray gave us, right? You read how he said that you are strong.. so be strong, Ana, and drop this, please... drop this Ana, please.. Max said fear can be seen on his face..

Why are they caring so much about me.. why ?

"I won't.. please, I am sorry, but let me go.. Thank you both of you for always being there for Ray.. thank you.." I said, and these were my last words...

"Nooo ana!!! Leo call Dr. Taylor.. " Someone said I was not able to make out who was that...

And then darkness consumed me.. Ray, I am coming.
