Recap:
Hey, can I ask you guys something?" I said as we headed out the door.

"Anything," Lilly replied.

"Do you think Max and Leo would be okay with us going shopping today?"

Emily exchanged a glance with Lilly. "Don't worry, Ana. Max said to you, "You can't go alone.. and you are not, you are going with us.. and he does not want to take your freedom, Ana . He just wants you to be safe.. Besides, you need a break."

Lilly grinned mischievously. "And we need some retail therapy."

"Max is grumpy." I muttered.

"Oh, he is.trust me, he definitely is." Emily said with a frown.

"Ana, if Max and Leo ever and I mean it ever scold you come to us.. we know how to handle them. " Lilly said with an evil smile..

"Oh, don't worry, Lilly Ana, is there a weakness.. we can ask them anything now in the name of Ana, and they will say yes." Emily said while laughing..

Lilly also started laughing, and a small smile covered my lips. At least they are good.

As we headed towards the car, my phone buzzed with a message from Leo:
"Meet us in Max's office before going out."

I knocked on the door, and Max's deep voice beckoned me inside.

"Hi Max! Hi Leo!" I said, stepping inside.

Leo flashed his signature charming smile. "Hey, kiddo! We've got a surprise for you."

Max's expression remained stern, but Leo's relaxed demeanor eased my nerves.

"Ana Emily told me you are going shopping with them." Max said, and I guess I was waiting for my response, so I nodded.

(Yes, I nodded and saw Max eyebrow was raised, and then I remembered my stupid rules, ha ha!) I guess he was waiting, so I said yes.

"Ok, so, Ana, we've decided to give you a shopping spree," Max said, handing me a credit card. "Buy whatever you need."

Leo chimed in, "And whatever you want! No limits, no thinking twice, Ana. You deserve it."

Max nodded at me.

(He nodded he noooddddeedd. But I guess it was a rule not to nod.. oh Ana you are so naive.. ofc these rules will be for you only and for them..stupid rules.)

I took the card, feeling grateful. "Thanks, guys. This means a lot."

Leo winked. "Just have fun, kiddo. You've earned it."

Max's gaze softened slightly. "Remember, Ana, we're doing this for your well-being."

Leo rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Come on, Max, lighten up. Ana knows the drill."

I chuckled a little..and Max said, " Don't u have to go, Ana.. I think girls will be waiting for you..

Ohhh shit yess I have to go.. bye guys thank you again..

As I left the office, Leo called out, "Hey, Ana! Get something crazy! Something that makes you laugh! And don't tell girls you get late because of Max.. Emily will beat Max's ass"

I giggles at Leo.. and ran to the car.

Back at the car, Emily and Lilly looked up expectantly.

"I'm here!" I announced.
