YOONGI POV 🖤
I bolted into the house, my mind still spinning from what I'd just done. Ending Chanwoo had brought some satisfaction, a twisted sense of justice.
But the moment I drove away from that hellhole, all I could think about was Leena. Worry had gnawed at me the entire drive, my knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel too hard. I needed to see her, to hold her, to make sure she was okay.
I ran into the mansion as fast as possible leaving my car somehow in the front yard.
Bursting into our room, I came face-to-face with a scene that nearly stopped my heart.Leena lay unconscious on the bed, pale and motionless. The doctor was examining her, and everyone was gathered around her, their faces painted with concern.
My gut twisted in fear, guilt rushing through me. I had dragged her into this. I had asked her to play her part in the plan, and now here she was, completely drained from the trauma of it all.
I've told you to go home Elyisium, you should have just listened to me
I tried to move toward her, desperate to be by her side, but my mom stepped in front of me before I could.
"Yoongi," she said softly, though her eyes were filled with urgency, "she's already in trauma. Don't go near her like this... covered in blood.. Go change, freshen up. The doctor is taking care of her for now."
I froze, glancing down at my shirt still stained with Chanwoo's blood. My breath hitched as the reality hit me-I couldn't let her see me like this. She'd been through enough. I couldn't add to her fear.
Still, a part of me ached to be by her side. To reassure myself that she was alive and breathing. But I swallowed it down, nodded, and turned to leave.
Every step away from her felt like it was tearing me apart. The satisfaction from ending Chanwoo faded away, replaced by the sickening worry I'd felt the whole ride home.
All I could do now was clean myself up and hope she'd be okay when I came back.
The doctor's calm voice cut through the tense air as he asked, "What exactly happened in front of her?"
Jimin, ever quick to cover up, lied smoothly, "Uh... she saw a lot of blood. Actually, there was an accident on the road."
"I see. Then there's nothing to be worried about," the doctor responded, relieved. "She was anxious and panicked, and that's why she fainted. As long as she takes proper rest, I'm sure she'll be fine. Just try to distract her from thoughts of blood."
Everyone nodded in agreement, but I couldn't shake the weight pressing down on my chest.
I returned to the room after cleaning up, no longer covered in blood, but the sight of Leena still unconscious tugged at my insides.
I stood frozen for a moment. I had ended Chanwoo's life-I'd ripped him out from our world, from her life. That monster should have been the end of all our nightmares, but seeing Leena like this, lying motionless, made me feel helpless. Where was the peace we deserved?
"Leena, please... wake up."
I took a step forward, unable to stay away, when Yn's voice stopped me.
"Yoongi, she's unconscious. Let her have some space and rest. I've heard what you did in front of her."
I clenched my jaw. I didn't need a lecture now.
"I-"
"Violence isn't always the answer, Yoongi," she interrupted firmly.
