LEENA'S POV 💍

We drove back to the penthouse, the night air still clinging to us as we entered our room and collapsed onto the bed. Yoongi sat beside me, his eyes fixed on me, never leaving me alone for a second. I could feel his gaze, intense and unwavering, and it made my heart skip a beat.

"What happened?" I asked, glancing at him.

"What will happen?" he replied, a hint of mischief in his voice.

"You look like you want to say something very eagerly," I teased, feeling his stare digging deeper.

"Can't I just look at you?" he said, his hand softly snaking around my waist, pulling me closer. He rested his head on my shoulder, and I could feel the warmth of his breath brushing against my neck. It sent a soft shiver through me.

I gently held his hand that was now tying a possessive knot on my side. "What happened to my baby?"

"Ay, I'm not a baby," he muttered, his tone playful.

"But you are mine, my baby," I whispered, a smile forming on my lips. He softly kissed the side of my neck, his breath hot against my skin, making me lean further into his warmth.

"You smell divine," he whispered, his lips brushing against my skin.

I chuckled lightly, teasing, "And does it drive you insane that you wanna eat me?"

His fingers traced a slow line from my cheek down to my jawbone, and then to the strands of my hair. "Oh dear! Yes, absolutely," he said, his voice husky as I leaned into his touch, savoring every gentle stroke of his hand.

The air between us felt heavier, the quiet moments filled with our heartbeats and the soft rhythm of our breaths. His fingers lingered on my skin, his eyes filled with something deeper, something that made my heart race..

"Last time, we didn't even have our first night, or anything," Yoongi whispered, his voice low as he nuzzled his nose into my neck, inhaling my scent deeply. "We just hated each other at our best. Even though the marriage wasn’t for us that time, falling in love was real."

I smiled softly at his words, feeling a warmth bloom in my chest. Just as I was about to respond, his lips found my neck, gently sucking on the skin, sending shivers down my spine. He pulled away slightly, his breath hot against my ear as he whispered, "This is our first night, officially. There's no hate."

"Hate?" I teased, my voice barely above a whisper. "What if I say I’ve never hated you, Yoongi?"

He backed off a little, confusion flickering across his face as he studied me. "What? What do you mean, Elysium?"

I bit my lip, gathering my thoughts before meeting his gaze. "I still remember when I first came... I didn’t know you were the groom, Yoongi. I instantly fell for you. But after knowing your identity and then your cold personality... I distanced myself. I tried not to get too involved with you... that's what came out as hate, but it wasn’t really."

His eyes widened, clearly shocked by my confession. He looked as though he was trying to piece everything together.

"Elysium—" he mumbled, almost at a loss for words.

"Yes?" I gently prompted, searching his gaze.

"It was destiny all along," he whispered, his voice filled with awe as if he was just realizing the deeper connection between us. His hand cupped my cheek softly, his thumb brushing against my skin with tenderness.

I smiled, leaning into his touch, feeling the weight of the past fall away. It felt like we had finally reached the shore after a huge storm in the ocean..
