Charlotte's backbone

The week passed so slowly Mia hadn't caused any issues for the knight nursery staff. Yet. Mia did how ever stick up for Charlotte when one of the fathers picked up late having ago at Charlotte over telling his wife he had been consistently collecting later than the arranged time and there would be a late fee added to the fees.  Mia Jumped in and came to charlottes defence sensing charlottes discomfort and the way she cowered slightly at his raised voice.  When the parent had gone char said thank you to Mia hearing Charlotte made Mia warm a little "don't tell anyone about that can't let them think I have a soft side" Charlotte looked back at Mia a little dumbfounded as Mia carried on talking "I'd only ever do that for you" walking off out of the room Charlotte was starting to warm to Mia but had to keep telling herself that Mia was still a bad person but char felt something strange in the pit of her stomach.

Mia was on her best behavior for a few days and was now getting fed up of Jodie, she planned to set Jodie up to take the fall for something she had planned. One morning she pulled Jodie out of the room at 11am when Jodie was no longer in ratio "Jodie I've won a free hamper and I would like you to have it for all your hard work" "aww totes congrats but what's a hamper" mid knew this was going to work to her advantage "it's a basket of items here all you need to do is put your name and address in and add these bank details" Mia handed Jodie the company credit card "oh but if it's free why do you have to pay" Jodie was a little smarter than Mia anticipated "oh it's just to verify that you are human and not a robot" "oh yeah ok we don't want these robots getting the hampers do we" Mia smirked maybe she wasn't as smart after all "be sure to put your address in cause you live right there yeah" Mia pointed out the office window to the house across the street "yeah yeah that's my house" Mia's plan was working.

It was a day later when Carly informed Charlotte about what had happened Charlotte knew mia had set Jodie up and was determined to prove her innocence and came up with a plan to find the paper trail walking to the office Charlotte knew Mia liked her so switched her wedding ring in attempt to get her attention

"That perfume smells really nice"

Mia looked up from the computer intrigued

"And your nails look so pretty"

Mia was really interested in where this conversation was going to go

"Do they?"

"Mmhm you both smell and look great"

The comment made Mia smirk at char

"Charlotte was there something you wanted"

"Oh well you know come to think of it would it be ok if just use your compute"

Mia now worked out what Charlotte was after

"My computer"

"Yeah my phone just never connects to the internet here and I wanted to look up the bar menu for a new bar that's just opened up"

Charlotte began to ramble

"Because I'd love to go, perhaps you and I could go together sometime"

Mia smirked at the woman in front of her

"Go ahead use the computer to look up the bar menu"

"Great thank you, do you know we can go to this bar like today, straight after work"

Mia looked at char with an eyebrow raised

"If you fancy me, it if you fancy, if you fancy it"

Charlotte was beginning to get flustered

Mia knew what char was up to now

"Let me guess I'll be the one driving us there right? So you can take a good old look around my car"
