14. Friend or Foe

So here's what you missed on Gleeboot while you were out living your lives waiting for an update:

The New Directions finally won Regionals because they got the new guy Caesar who actually turned out to be a girl named Cece to join them - oh and she's a great dancer.

Elizabeth and Ricky are dating now. Floris switched to they/them pronouns and Teddy totally said 'I love you' to them.

Perla and Dominic have gotten closer but Lucas might still want her back even though he betrayed her by sleeping with Mia.

Mia had a crush on Caesar before knowing he was a guy which was totally awkward. What's more awkward is that Kat is friends with Mona but Mona still hates the glee club.

Oh and Lola and Alex finally kissed after Regionals.

And that's what you missed on... GLEEBOOT!

Sam was on top of the world. He arrived at McKinley the Monday after Regionals feeling like a champion, excited for how that similar confidence would bring the glee club together. Those kids had worked their butts off and despite their differences and their drama, they had come together for the win. Now, he was sure that their new bond would take them to higher places and, if fate would permit, a Nationals win.

When he walked into the choir room, he expected excited chatter or even some applause. Instead, he found a house on fire.

Perla was yelling, pointing her index finger aggressively in Elizabeth's face. 

What?

No, Sam took a closer look. Elizabeth was just standing in front of her, begging her to back down. She was yelling past her, at... Kat?

No, Kat was just holding Mia back. Mia was yelling, too. 

He looked down at the ground, where Dominic and Lucas were practically wrestling as Alex and Teddy pulled them apart, respectively.

He glanced back up. Floris was standing on a chair in the front row, holding his legs back like there was a rat on the floor, shouting something unintelligible at the group. In the back row, Lola and Ricky sat together and stared at everyone, confused. Cece was attempting to maneuver past all the moving bodies to get to her chair.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Sam said after three seconds of taking in every detail. As the group turned to him, he asked, "What on earth is going on here?"

Everyone froze for a moment, deer caught in headlights. But after a second, Perla said, "What's going on is Mia's a backstabbing slut who can't be trusted!"

Mia responded immediately, "You're just a jealous, miserable bitch!"

"Ladies!" Sam exclaimed, but their language was the least of their issues as the two girls lunged at each other again, and this time it was he who ran in between them, keeping them apart.

How did this happen?

10 minutes earlier...

The New Directions gathered in the choir room for their post-Regionals return, with the notable exceptions of Perla and Mia. Instead, they had gone to Santana's office.

"I asked you to meet here so early," Santana began, "because there's something I want to get out of the way. I need this information fully processed by practice, so I will give it to you and then you will leave my office and be good little soldiers after school. Got it?"
