I've been looking into creepypastas for as long as I can remember and I've been dealing with them for around the same amount of years. Things have only seemed to be escalating. When I think they've finally left me alone, they come back and now it's been getting even worse, which at first I didn't expect to happen but if you encounter stuff like this then it's only understandable that things will escalate.

There are things I'm going to leave out in some entries because it's stuff that I don't feel like sharing nor need to. But I do want everyone to know that everything I type in these entries are true. You don't have to belive it and I would understand if ya didn't. It's hard to trust people and tell it they're lying or not even in real life but I know I'm telling the truth so I suppose that is all that matters. Who knows maybe I will share everything but something bizarre happened. Something my past self wouldn't have ever guessed would have happened but it did. I'll decide later if I wish to share everything.

But for now...let's start off from the beginning or at least when I finally understood and realized what situation I was truly in.

It was around 2 or 3 in the morning and I was listening to music, just the usual, ya know? Strange things we're goin' on but I never payed too much attention to it.

I was always feeling like I was being watched. No matter where I was. I was almost convinced there were cameras in my home honestly. I also began to hear people tapping on my bedroom window at night along with hearing people outside my bedroom door at times. At first I ignored it like an idiot but I usually over-think things a lot and who knows, if could've been all in my head. This however didn't stop me from growing paranoid later on.

Late at night is when I get the chance to be alone so I typically listen to music around that time because I cannot sleep regardless so why not try to wake myself with some good 'ol music? Eventually this lead to a bad music obsession and I find myself being cranky and eventually losing my mind if I don't get at least a few hours of music, if not more. For a matter of fact...I usually need to listen it for most of my day. I surprisenly have not yet lost my hearing, I actually would consider my hearing better than your average hearing. I can hear everything that goes on no matter what room I'm in. Even if someone is whispering from a completely different room, I can still hear it. Which has its downs and ups that come along with it. The bad music obsession also came with the bad habit of pacing back and forth along with it.

Which leads us back to where we are now, I was pacing back and forth down a hallway as I blared my music in my ear. Stuff like I Can't Decide and all that good stuff. Now weirdly enough there's a window in every room of my home. Even the hallway I was currently walking in depsite it not even being a room. As I passed the window I saw something that you wouldn't expect to see in your yard around 3 in the morning. I had backed up a bit and went back to the window to get a good look at it.

There was a figure standing next to a tree in my backyard. It was tall and thin. Seeming to be wearing a suit as well[hmmm...I wonder who it is...such a mystery....]. You would think it was a normal person[which of course would've still been concerning if it was a human of course because why they be in my yard to begin with?] if it weren't for the figure appearing to have...no face. Slenderman.

Hopefully all of you are familiar with who Slenderman is due to you reading a book 'bout Slenderverse and Creepypastas encounters and Slenderman is indeed an important entity[+villain] consisting within the two.

However...In case you're not aware on who he or rather it is...I'll give an easy summary that hopefully I can remember.

Slenderman was first spotted in the background of a picture of a playground that consisted of kids playing and goofing around around the year 2009. Since it was...well a playground. If you focuse on the photo you can see something doesn't sit quite right. And no it's not because some of the kids look like they're on crack, it's simply because in the background of the photo we can see a monstrous figure standing there menacingly. A tall, slim, faceless figure who appeared to be around 7ft stood there as some kids stood beside it. Still not questioning why some of the kids didn't notice it but they were probably too high to care[I'm joking unless they were actually high of course which is rather concerning if they were...their parents should take better care of them].

This simple picture seemed to catch the attention of many as it quickly became popular as more photos had appeared. It scared many but that that stop people from becoming intrigued with this mysterious entity.

Slenderman has also been addressed as other given names such as "The Operator" in Marble Hornets, A 2009 slenderverse show that was actually the first slenderverse series ever created and truly the most popular amongst all of them. It's also been addressed as "The Administrator" in Tribetwelve. Along with Habit, the main antagonist of Everymanhybrid, another slenderverse series created in 2010 that collaborated with other slenderverse series and ended up possessing Evan Myers, a protagonist of the show, giving Slenderman a nickname which is "Stick-in-the-mud."

Slenderman is an entity that many underestimate as its just as powerful as it is dangerous. Many "fans" give it more of a father attire and make it seem like a friendly entity which it is in fact the complete opposite. It sees its proxies as tools to do its bidding. They are just easy to replace in its eyes whether they're human or not. I mean...it's responsible for many deaths and missing people so what do you really expect? It to be kind? Have a change of heart? Yeah...I apologize to you weird creepy fangirls[fanboys(or are any other gender fan)], well I don't really apologize since most creepypasta fan[girls/boys/etc.] are creepy[not all but definitely most] but its not at all what the Fandom makes it seem like. It's truly a monster that likes to break down its victims, especially mentally. So do be careful.

I still hear people to this day call Slenderman an urban legend when it's a creepypasta. It's both amusing and frustrating at the same time, well more of just frustrating to be honest.

This concludes my first encounter with the so called Slenderman and I will hopefully continue to write more entries of my past and future encounters if I make it another night that is...I wish you all a lovely night and remember to buy gold and stay weird. This is TheEye13 signing out for the night.
