ENTRY #22: ERYX

So a lot has been going on since my last entry. This is mainly the reason why I haven't been updating this story. I've been trying to gain control back so I don't have mental breakdowns in the middle of an entry. It's hard but I think I'm ready to catch you up with everything happening. I've been keeping everything up to date on my Instagram, but since some of you probably don't keep track of that, I have decided to finally tell you about everything going on.

It started off with Habit and Slenderman going oddly quiet. I thought it was really strange due to the fact that they've been bothering me like crazy, well...Slender mainly was.

And that's when...I started dealing with a new entity. They call themselves Eryx, as they've signed their name on multiple letters they leave me when they take control or "possess" me. Yeah...we'll word it like that.

I didn't know who or what they were at first. Their motives and everything but their name was unknown to me. Well that was until my friend of mine[who's amazing by the way], brought up the idea that they could be be relation to Zalgo. It made a lot of sense actually due to the way they acted, their mannerism, and just their characteristics in general. Along with the fact that since Slenderman is bothering me, of course its enemy would get involved to ruin its plans. I eventually got an answer from Eryx and turns out we were right. Turns out Eryx is one of many Zalgo's children.

At first it started off with them saying rude comments to me, along with just messing messing me. They were basically just being a huge prick.

But then it escalated into them somehow possessing me and this involved some serious issues. I'd gain consciousness to fresh wounds[injuries] and letters[I'll show you some later], along with feeling terribly shitty.

The after effects of being possessed by Eryx include the following:

▪︎Feeling intensely sick[fever/Nausea]
▪︎Ghostly cold hands
▪︎intense headache
▪︎vision remains blurry for a while and it's hard to focus
▪︎strange urges still remain
▪︎aches in body
▪︎Extreme tiredness/drowsiness
▪︎memory loss
▪︎recovery of numbness

The effects before being possessed by them aren't necessarily as clear as the after affects but here's some information that I gathered so far.

▪︎Urges
▪︎Feeling a strange sensation throughout your body
▪︎heart beat increases
▪︎Blackouts
▪︎Feeling numb or your mind goes blank
▪︎Pounding headache that lasts for a long period of time
▪︎intense hunger
▪︎dizziness

Eryx also appeared to have started posting on my Instagram account. I can show you both of the posts now.

As you can see...they're a prick. Do what you will with this information. Thankfully I don't think that they'll mess with this book...but in case they do, I have a few things I wish to go over.

For starters, if they make an entry on here, you can leave comments on it, but do NOT give them the satisfaction they want. What I mean by that is don't give them amusement from getting a reaction out of you. That's what they want. Don't let that happen. They feed off your weaknesses and reactions. It makes them stronger, don't in give in. Though that doesn't mean that you cannot leave comments, they probably won't respond anyway.

Now time for the few letters that they have left me.

They also seem to have a symbol of their own, I'll show you a photo real quick of it in a second. My friend said that perhaps it helps them get stronger when they use it and that's why they draw it a lot, which makes sense I guess.

As you can see, they love being cryptic, I'm not sure what any of these letters mean[well except the we'll be watching you one 💀. That one is pretty obvious]. But all I know is that hopefully one day I can get rid of them before things escalate too far.
