Music is a powerful thing. It can cheer you up when you're upset, make you upset when you're really excited bout something, it can even make you feel rage for no apparent reason. It's why the songs of sirens are so memorizing. It can put anyone...well maybe not grumpy old men who have nothing better in their life to do rather then complain but uh...it can put ALMOST anyone in a trance. It can lure you in when you least expect it.
Which leads us to today' entry. Things were starting to get...weird let's just say. And when stuff like that happens what do ya do? Go on walks with your friends. Well two friends[one of them was the one mentioned in the last entry.]
The walk started off normal. We were chatting and goofing around like what you would expect from a normal group of friends...well, sort of normal.
But soon enough as the walk continued, we had reached a park. I cannot recall what feeling I had once I had stared into the environment in front of us, maybe a bit of confusion. Perhaps fear. Not too far from where we were standing was Slenderman, if I recall correctly. It was just standing there. Not moving, well...it would occasionally tilt its head. But other than, it was just standing there. It was like looking into our souls...well as much as it could with no eyes. I'm jokin'. I know it can see even without eyes, which is strange but I'm not going to think bout it too much. And even if it was lookin' into our souls, it is not going to like what goes on in my friends minds...it is full of dark twisted things that are best left hidden and unknown.
I got my friends out of there as quick as I could after I confirmed it to be indeed Slenderman. Once we calmed down, we agreed to go their place. As we began walking back to their place[they're twins, not identical however so that helps.], we had started hearing a tune. A tune you would hear at a circus or even a carnival. Every time we ignored it, it would get louder. So we did what any "normal" group would do and went searching for the tune and where it was coming from.
It would change where it was coming from multiple times and when we did get close enough to where it was really loud, I would feel sick. Like the way you would feel after eating a one month old cheese, ew...though there are people who do that on purpose so yeah...
We had given up our search as it seemed the music was only mocking us, as weird as that sounds. Luckily we hadn't gone too far so the walk back to their place wasn't as long and we just continued walking there.
But that's when I felt someone grab onto me. Rather harshly, I felt their hands gripping into my shoulders. I heard someone, obviously that thing that grabbed onto me, whisper something in my ear. It was the word habit. After I felt the hands go away, I looked behind me. Nothing. But there was still a presence that lingered around. I had asked my two friends if they heard anything and one of them did say they heard someone say something. Well at first I asked if it was one of then who had whispered in my ear and they responded with no and then I asked that question.
We quickened our pace as we were all tired and wanted to go relax. It was quite hot out if I recall and following that tune had made us tired. I was also not expecting to see Slenderman again and I had remembered why I started to avoid going outside a lot.
Once we were in the same block that they lived in, that's when the music had returned. Well it wasn't the same exact music. It was a heavy mental or rock type of music instead of that circus music. I swear I recognized that song and when it clicked in my brain, I had almost questioned everything. It was the same song Habit played in episode The Summoning when it possessed Evan. It was quite loud, too loud to ignore. I kind of just stood there till I was convinced to go inside once we reached their place.
So if I were to sum this entry up, I would say...don't follow creepy Circus tunes. You ever heard about creepy killer clowns? Yeah. They're real so uh...don't do that. My friends and I investigate a lot of that stuff or did at least[most of these entries I'm currently writing or wrote are events from a few years ago or months ago like I had mentioned before. During most of these entries we were investigating the supernatural but something had happened which I'll explain when I finally get to that entry.] So it's in our nature to investigate. Now you may be thinking, "are you guys dumb or somethin'? You could get yourselves killed!" We know that and we're careful when investigating. If we see a creepy ass man following us at night during our investigations, we're out of there faster than William Afton can say "I always come back." Unlike most people, we know what we're doing when investigating and know it could get ourselves killed. That's why we're careful.
Now I would say that this experience is what caused us to realize that we were dealing with not only Slenderman but also another entity. This entity will be the topic of the next entry if I'm thinking correctly so uh, if I'm still alive I'll be writing that experience out as well. But for now...I bid you all farewell and goodbye rabbits.
