Hi! I'm back with a new chapter. How has it been for you guys? I just got myself a new laptop 😆

The meal is pretty good. Ash happily eats the food, saying that he has never tried this taste before. Karlyle also acknowledges that the chef is quite skilled.

However, unfortunately, his morning sickness doesn't get any better. From the moment the fish comes out, he's started to feel intense nausea. Fortunately, he didn't eat anything before coming here so he doesn't throw up. He somehow manages to keep his expressionless face, grits his teeth and holds back his vomit by clenching his fists under the table so tightly that they turn white.

It is so painful that he breaks out in cold sweat on his back, but he comes over it with willpower. However, unlike the past few days when he has somehow endured it without vomiting, this time his whole body shows a rejection reaction. He has no choice but to make an excuse to go to the bathroom to take a call for a while, and then he throws up everything he has eaten with a pale face. After the nausea so strong that even his gastric juice comes out, he finally calms down a little.

..... Maybe he should avoid fish for a while.

There isn't blood in his vomit, but he doesn't know why his body reacts this way. After rinsing his mouth with water and taking a deep breath, he checks his appearance once more and goes out.

"Is everything alright, Lyle?"

Ash is waiting for him without continuing the meal on his own. As soon as Karlyle gets near the table, Ash stands up and watches his face. Karlyle nods without changing his expression.

"Yes, everything is fine."

"I guess the call went on longer than expected. I was worried because you took too long to come back."

His false excuse has made Ash worried. Karlyle is troubled. For a moment, he considers this is the right moment to tell Ash, yet he's hesitant and fails to do it.

Even if he says it, it should be outside rather than here. Even though he's just emptied everything in his stomach, he almost feels like throwing up again.

"If you don't mind...." He says reluctantly. "I'm not feeling well, so can I go out first? Ash, you can finish your meal and come out later."

If the food had been made by Ash, he would have been able to finish it somehow, but sadly. Even if he didn't finish eating, he didn't think he would disappoint Ash.

"You're not feeling well?"

Ash's expression hardens. Karlyle tries to calm Ash, who has gotten so serious in the blink of an eye.

"I think I got carsick since I haven't had a ride in a while. I should feel better if I get some fresh air."

"Let's go. I'll pay and get out right after you. If you don't mind, can you go outside first?"

"Thank you."

As soon as the permission is given, Karlyle nods. He wants to pay the bill and leave together with Ash, but he has a strong feeling that if he continues to stay here, he will throw up in vain. Only after he hurriedly walk out of the restaurant does his nausea calm down.

He is so dizzy that he just wants to wash his face. Can it be that the gastritis he suffered before meeting Ash is coming back? It has not happened since he got married, he has forgotten how this pain feels like....

As he's pondering whether he should go back to the mansion and list the ingredients he hasn't tried before and choose the ones that might be edible, a sweet scent wafts from the street.
